If Indian army had did this then it would be out in news like 1971 pak army rapes.

Ir it could be separatist agenda.

1991 is not medieval, medical involvement would have cleared everything.

could be possible it’s a propaganda against the army and its personnel.

Investigations

The Press Council of India investigated the case in summer 1991 and concluded that the rape reports could not be proven. Following that, the government declared the case as "unfit for launching criminal prosecution" in September 1991 and closed it a month later.

The Press Council's conclusions were criticised by the Human Rights Watch which stated that the results of the examinations still raised questions about the activity of the Indian army in Kunan Poshpora. According to HRW, the Press Council's investigative committee had dismissed any evidence that may contradict the government version of events. The HRW report accused the committee of being focused on shielding the Indian government from criticism rather than uncovering truth.[3]

The United States Department of State, in its 1992 report on international human rights, stated that there was "credible evidence" that supports the mass rape charges against the army unit at Kunan Poshpora

But this is according to wikipedia

It’s true that army has supported kashmiris countless times and them being anti national is a concern and should be addressed but if it’s true I also condemn it as rape is not justified irrespective of who does it.

Also I am not stating that it’s true 100% could be a propoganda too by militants to brainwash kashmiri’s but I am just understanding the root cause of their hatred stems from such incidents thus making them anti national.

Kashmir should come permanently under the rule of centre atleast until the situation normalises. Centre should establish colonies for kashmiri pandits with full security and all relevant educational & health establishments etc. People from other states in India should be allowed to buy land and settle in Kashmir. Any incident of locals involved in terrorist activity or even supporting terrorist activity should be dealt with an iron fist.

also those who harbour anti national sentiments should be given an option to leave india and join pakistan.

One of the earliest that happened right during the time kashmir joined India had accounts of how muslim tribals attacked & raided and how Hindu women would take poison or weapon in their hands to finish themselves off because falling into their hands was a much worse fate.

It must be very scary in 1991, that KP chose to flee.

Yes I agree but they should understand by that logic other people can also hate them for what they did with kashmiri Hindu women.

Why should we even give them an option. Just take their citizenship. Along with them, their families too. In kashmir the locals involved were with families.

How come the mother doesn't know where her son is. Too much of lies.

Too many contradictions in stories and deliberate delays in investigation. There was no medico legal case prepared and the women went to get the medical test done weeks later. Also the number went on randomly going up. But this one stands out,

"Despite the terrible “atrocity” committed by 4th Raj Rif, women and children from Kunan never stopped attending the unit’s weekly medical camp in Trehgam. We met some of them during our visit in June. They said it was only here and not in the Government health facilities that they got real care."

For any one interested can go thorugh this article...

Those times did not have the advantage of social media so it's easy to concoct rape story to justify terrorism in the state. With such huge data of rapes ranging anywhere between 23 to 100, there is no medical report ?? Very strange.

Fake narratives are Pakistani's favourite. Recently I had seen same in Palestine too.
