A slow start, a powerful thrust in the middle-overs and a finish that sparked and fizzled out - that's the story for CSK after they were asked to bat first. The young openers flattered to deceive early doors and were both dismissed early. Jadeja attempted to counter-attack but was undone by Harpreet Brar within the powerplay. Then Sam Curran spearheaded CSK's fightback. He looked in great touch and ensured that no poor deliveries went unpunished.
