After watching the full episode and ManVik for the second time.... my thoughts on that scene are the same!!!
Partly I agree could be the expectations (mere apne hi
).... the scene, anticipation, BTSs, Mukta song choice everything suggested something more... if not ILU.... and it did feel a little less in comparison...
Also, for me... "Adhuri Kahani" is a standout scene so far.... best out of all their scenes....and none of ones that followed have lived up to that one!!!
I was probably also expecting a reverse of Adhuri Kahani... something more honest and passionate (not of the 18+ variety
)
Vikrant got an easy apology.... Mannat forgave him far too quickly... she does have a soft corner but it was quick considering how much she suffered in all this.... and to top it off.... gave all the credit to him... sure only voice and his conviction would have mattered to his family and anything Mannat did would not have made a difference.... it still doesnt.... but to say he made it happen and that he is BKB for everyone is not true.... thankfully Vik did not agree to this!!!!
The other thing is ofcourse the last frame... of Malla in between them.... I thought I have grown out of that.... but that shot itself brings back so many horrible memories which I dont want to be in this show!!!! Please Mukta... dont do this.... Malla still doesnt bother me... but it bothers when the leads ka scene is disturbed due to external elements
That apart the scene (when its just the two) was wonderful.... beautifully executed and emoted by the two... their faces and eyes speaks volumes and lot of unsaid feelings were visible to the audience....
Maybe it was the camera angle or something Adnan did... but he made himself small... like physically .. when he says main sharminda hun.... that says a lot!!! and Mannat becomes the bigger person... metaphorically... her smaller physical frame is able to calm him down...
Vikku boy definitely got the 'pheels' today!!! and yes (I agree Rdigest...) he would have gone for a kiss if Malla had not disturbed...
There was a blink and miss moment where his nose slid down hers.... it was too cute and intimate at the same time

Neetu ajeeb hoti jaa rahi hai.... when Vikrant says Bobby is wrong or should be punished... she nods appreciatively and proudly ki wah re mera beta!!!! but Mannat says the same thing,... she gets upset...
Same goes with ARS, Malla

Saare ke saare Mannat pe naraz hai... for bringing out the truth... without having a thought on how horrible the truth is...
Also, all Malla has to do is tell Mannat that she likes Vik now and Mannat backoff karegi... but nahi... Malla ego trip pe hai... (and Mukta episode badhane main)...
Puneet's dialogue for parents seems like a premonition.... that come whatever may... you will have to choose your parents!!!
I still think Mannat ka next task is Nikhil ki family ko patao
Mukta ji... do yaar Punnu ke saath triangle... such a waste of talent for him to be just chef!!!!

P.S. I wish Mannat had not asked Shalini to slap bobby... Vik saying it was enough... Mannat should have stayed quiet...
The shot of the day was that shadow play.
Vikrant almost touched her feet. Like all FLs, bas ek sorry and even balla that’s called Malla was forgiven.
Placing her in between ManVik in the shot was like throwing ice cold water on my heated ovaries! Someone please explain why Mukta and creatives have Malla overdressed or permanently underdressed always!
I have been seeing the almost kiss part on loop. Kaash we got a kiss 
Raveena needs a kick up her gilded posterior. Gagan was right, nothing can be good where ARS is around. Gagan please find out Vikku’s truth first. I so want to see ARS lose. But ITV ke maa ki ankh 
we will probably never see that happen.
Neetu hates Mannat but likes Malla. Mental case kahin ki. Puneet’s words are,prophetic. Hope Vikrant remembers everything and rejects Neetu. Rowknee I still like. Like Gagan said, he knows right from wrong.
Bobby needs a kick in his family not-so-jewels. Kaash it were an English show,we would have got that scene.
Chalo let me stalk the other comments and return to seeing the almost kiss part.
