Alright... Let's say he has to be rude and arrogant towards the rest of the team but his face, especially his eyes clearly give the impression that he just hates the team and wants them dead. The way he looks at them with those eyes and that expression makes it seem as if he is totally looking down at them.

Then, he has to lead a team... And leading a team means keeping all possibilities in mind. For example yesterday, he knew those traffickers are dangerous yet he literally told them to openly raid the NGO which could have put the kids in danger. So, even if he has to hate the team, the least he could have done is to make a careful plan there instead of an outright raid. Team ko attitude dikhana hai, dikhao; but case ke time toh dhang se dimag lagana chahiye na?

And this is what is triggering every one this team has always been good with choosing actors god knows what has gone wrong with them with what they did this time

Frankly, if we give them full freedom to do anything then even the burning of photos can be sold off as a YSPT with them saying that he did all that because he was under Barbosa's surveillance and he had to do stuff to make him believe that he is against the CID team.

Now, coming to what you said about AM and those two cops... Yes, Sachin said that he saw a lady with Barboza so yes, these two could be planted by him. Yes, all the emotional stuff was an act to keep Barbosa in the dark can also be shown because yes, they were literally under surveillance all the time. And this way, AM's rudeness and his narcissistic behaviour can also be given a pass by the writers to have his character get a decent exit...

But frankly, if they go with this route... Then it'll be outright ridiculous. Their easiest route would have been to show Barbosa kidnapping ACP and him managing to escape and contact the team (or AM) later on. That would have been the simplest way out...because Barboza escaped the blast so it's very easy for him to take someone else out too with him.

Bold: This point!! This is what is confusing me about him... On one hand, we have him being downright rude and arrogant but then, the moment he heard that gunshot, he ran upstairs, without even waiting for the lift to come down. That point was where I felt that they'll turn him into a decent person in the end.

They'd really have to make it either a team YSPT or if it turns to be an ACP Pradyuman YSPT, then they have to show the entire team angry at him for a bit for making a mockery of their emotions. They did the YSPT in Maddam Sir and in that when Haseena pretended to be dead and her own lookalike and Karishma found out, she was angry at Haseena for a long time. Angry and hurt. It took her a while to get over it. They could really do something similar here.

Bold: Exactly! And he was talking about them all being together on the phone when the shot rang out, so you'd think he ordered a hit on some officer, but instead he's shown worried and anxious. The type of mad dash he did was something that any of the officers would do for each other, not an enemy of CID. Chalo he ordered the hit and he was just running to see who got taken down, but then why the anxious run up the stairs? That was a bit odd.

I feel makers are trying to confuse us viewers though I believe too they might give him a decent exit if they are wrapping this track sooner than they promised him

Yeah, YSPT will be very hard to sell... And in general, it's either a team YSPT or ACP Pradyuman YSPT. Frankly I'd prefer the latter... At least in this way, the emotions of the team will be genuine. They were genuinely grieving for him believing that they lost him.

And I remember the Maddam Sir episodes... I actually re-watched those particular episodes quite a few times because I loved the angry and hurt emotions displayed by Karishma. It felt so sweet but at the same time, so emotional when watching.

If they actually manage to create a similar sequence here then I believe with the acting capabilities of the entire team, it's gonna be another stellar performance like the episode where they were all grieving...and I'll give the episode a full score regardless of any sort of ridiculousness they show.

Bold: Yeah, that part was really odd. He is like two extremes of personalities... On one hand, we have him insulting the team whenever he gets a chance and then on the other we have him running all worried and anxious on hearing a gun shot. That mad dash upstairs was something that was not in line with the character he generally portrays. The way he was talking on the phone could easily give the impression that he ordered the hit on the team, so what was that mad dash for?

Just a random thought... If they don't make him Barbosa's associate, then instead of making him ACP Pradyuman's helper, I'd rather he be associated with someone else higher up who sent him to keep tabs on the team.

Exactly!! The team has been so good with choosing actors... But this time, their choice just fell flat. Parth as an ACP doesn't possess that aura or charisma that is required for a leader and those two hanger ons are simply useless, wastes of screen space.

100% agreed. They're probably adjusting quickly given the sudden changes, so now they're trying to go from making him into a full-out arrogant prick into someone more decent and acceptable to OG CID fans.

It's a very old abbreviation from first season itself. Every few weeks we'd get an episode where someone from the team would say "yeh sab plan tha" or something along those lines. So over time we just abbreviated it to YSPT. It took off everywhere.
