If I could get a chance to talk with the writers and the PH behind the show, I would absolutely love to know which genius person got the idea to show ACP Pradyuman "dead" and then bring in a replacement ACP and on top of it, first select an actor who can't act such a role and second, make this Ayushman an absolute insufferable, arrogant, narcissistic a-hole.

I mean such a genius brain deserves to be studied in a laboratory...

Exactly!! The problem started with the actor they chose... Had they chosen a good actor for the role of the temporary replacement ACP, people wouldn't have hated them this much. Yes, people would have been upset because of course, we all love the original CID cast but as a temporary replacement, it would have been okay.

But no, they had to choose an actor who can't play the role properly and on top of it, they had to make him an infuriating, narcissistic a-hole who loves to insult the CID team at the drop of a hat.

Who wouldn't be pissed??

Mhm... I checked. And I am still not sure what role he is exactly playing.

If they show him as someone who is helping ACP Pradyuman, then I'd have to ask one question to ACP Sahab: "Kya soch rahe the aap jo isko helper rakh liya?" Honestly, he's simply here to insult the team on a daily basis... Har episode mein in logon ki insult karta rehta hai.

I so wish he turns out to be the one helping Barbosa behind the scenes... But then, it's of course simply my wishful thinking. Hoga wahi jo ye writers ne script mein plan kiya hoga.

100% agreed. And what with the burning of the photos and all from today's episode - it'd be a really hard sell of YSPT. I've put together probably the best way to make this a YSPT and still make it believable.

They had to have known when Barboza first made his re-entry that he was going to come after the team, so when ACP Pradyuman sent Sachin away and then Dr. Salunkhe and Avni, it was all an act. Sachin getting shot and then getting caught in the bomb blast was a mistake. And on the way out, Dr. Salunkhe and ACP Pradyuman exchanged glances indicating some plan they had formed in advance. Then, of course, the whole emotional breakdown was an act for Barboza because they knew they were being watched at all times. ACP Anshumaan entered and was an arrogant prick to keep the 2 rude female cops in the dark that he's actually part of the game. And he and the team pretend to be at loggerheads so that they can work separately (but together) on finding and taking Barboza down. In the end the 2 rude female cops will turn out to be Barboza's minions that Sachin saw and Sachin going into coma was all fake to keep him safe since he saw the 2 rude female cops.

It's a hard sell and if it turns out to be YSPT I'll blow a fuse but this is like the only likely solution to making ACP Anshumaan a plant by ACP Pradyuman and not a Barboza friendly. And this may not be too hard a sell because they do show ACP Anshumaan running out of worry towards the sound of the bullet in today's episode. He changed his stance when he saw that everyone was okay.

If he is actually with our ACP sir then he is not able to potray the role properly because chalo maan liya he has to be rude with everyone but we're not able to see that delima ever on his face it looks like he actually hates team to the core

Agreed. I have no problem with Parth, only ACP Anshumaan, so if a YSPT gives Parth a decent exit then so be it. And I'm pretty sure the 2 RFCs are related to Barboza somehow.

Frankly, if we give them full freedom to do anything then even the burning of photos can be sold off as a YSPT with them saying that he did all that because he was under Barbosa's surveillance and he had to do stuff to make him believe that he is against the CID team.

But turning it into a YSPT with Abhijeet and Daya or either of them knowing about all this will be the worst outcome... Because they literally showed the entire team grieving ACP Sir's death, vowing revenge and going through all that heartbreak and everything only for it to end up being some ridiculous YSPT will be a total mockery of emotions. If it's a YSPT, then it's better if it doesn't involve the rest of the team... At least this will make their emotions seem genuine.

Now, coming to what you said about AM and those two cops... Yes, Sachin said that he saw a lady with Barboza so yes, these two could be planted by him. Yes, all the emotional stuff was an act to keep Barbosa in the dark can also be shown because yes, they were literally under surveillance all the time. And this way, AM's rudeness and his narcissistic behaviour can also be given a pass by the writers to have his character get a decent exit...

But frankly, if they go with this route... Then it'll be outright ridiculous. Their easiest route would have been to show Barbosa kidnapping ACP and him managing to escape and contact the team (or AM) later on. That would have been the simplest way out...because Barboza escaped the blast so it's very easy for him to take someone else out too with him.

Bold: This point!! This is what is confusing me about him... On one hand, we have him being downright rude and arrogant but then, the moment he heard that gunshot, he ran upstairs, without even waiting for the lift to come down. That point was where I felt that they'll turn him into a decent person in the end.

Alright... Let's say he has to be rude and arrogant towards the rest of the team but his face, especially his eyes clearly give the impression that he just hates the team and wants them dead. The way he looks at them with those eyes and that expression makes it seem as if he is totally looking down at them.

Then, he has to lead a team... And leading a team means keeping all possibilities in mind. For example yesterday, he knew those traffickers are dangerous yet he literally told them to openly raid the NGO which could have put the kids in danger. So, even if he has to hate the team, the least he could have done is to make a careful plan there instead of an outright raid. Team ko attitude dikhana hai, dikhao; but case ke time toh dhang se dimag lagana chahiye na?
