I think their intention was to bring in someone popular on social media to create the kind of buzz the show really needs right now. Honestly, someone like Barun Sobti, Gurmeet Choudhary, or even Nakuul Mehta would’ve been a much better pick. They’ve got that natural boss vibe and screen presence. Parth, on the other hand, fits more into the cute, sanskaari beta type roles. He just doesn’t have that strong, commanding aura. Even in yesterday’s episode, he looked like he was struggling with the dialogues and his expressions felt kind of forced and unconvincing.

I don't think the New ACP is Barbosa's spy. He may be DCP Chitrole's or DCP Prathap's Lieutenant.

I liked the part where ACP scolded Pankaj when he spoke in between. In reality, Ajay Nagrath is older than Path Samthaan and also senior to him in Movie and Television industry.

I must say Daya and Abhijeet using sir as a taunt and effortlessly making Parth look like a junior artist is entertaining.

ACP had addressed the caller as Sir which is formal. An IPS Officer sill not address a criminal leader like Barbosa as Sir. He may address him as Boss. So the caller may be his Superior

I came up with 2 theorie either:

a. He called ACP Pradyuman.. then I thought why he told Daya Sir and Abhijeet Sir to come off Barbosa case. Unless ACP Pradyuman who has faith in his duos told him they will still secretly also work on Barbosa case to make Eye Gang think CID have given up against him. I know wishful thinking

b. ACP Ayushman working for Barbosa. he is a fake ACP. Real ACP Ayushman has been killed by eye gang. That’s why he just giving orders, no action like ACP Sir
