Their openers got them off to a brisk start, however, Rohit Sharma couldn't carry on and convert his start into a formidable score. He was trapped lbw by Vipraj Nigam within the powerplay, while Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Rickelton a few overs later. SKY and Tilak then had a decent partnership for the third wicket. SKY scored 40 and got out, while Tilak notched up his fifty in the 17th over. Naman Dhir played an impressive cameo towards the end overs and had a useful partnership with Tilak. For Delhi Capitals, Kuldeep and Vipraj took a couple of wickets in the middle-overs and bowled well together as a pair, but the DC pacers proved to be expensive towards the final overs. Mitchell Starc had an off day as the Australian pacer conceded 43 runs in 3 overs. Mohit Sharma too had a poor day as he went for 40 runs in 3 overs. Ryan Rickelton: It was a bit sticky upfront, lucky to get a few away. We’ve got a competitive score on the board now. Nice to get a bit of confidence to get going. Hopefully our bowlers can stick at it and defend it. Hopefully it doesn’t change too much, there isn’t much dew, it should only get slower and lower. We need to target the stumps and target both edges. Bumrah is obviously a world class player, great to have him back. Little nervous to keep to him with the pace and swing.
