BUT mjhe na serious wala doubt hora hai they are making some other kchidi for sure they know fans are attached to these three pillars of the show firstly even shivaji sir wanted to leave they could have shown him acp sir retiring or even if they wanted to show him as dead ya to they could have shown abhi sir as acp and parth as sr inspector or could have got other actor on board because subah sae leaving his fans every one is saying same thing when we can reliaze he will fail our makers or channel dumb to do so

I remember that in a few CID Special episodes, Rajeev Khandelwal had come as an important character. I think he too was senior like ACP Pradyuman. I feel like crying too. My family is ardent CID fan since it started. But this time they have lost few things. I am missing Freddy and the makers did not even try to create another comedy character. I mean no one can take Freddy's place. But the comic scenes and casual conversations between the team are missing. Dr. Tarika has not returned. At least Sachin returned. Also the music is too serious instead of being thrilling like before. Now if they've really killed ACP Pradyuman and instead of hiring an actor like Rajeev Khandelwal or some other senior actor, if they bring in Parth the show will lose its charm a bit more. Though my heart does not allow me to abandon CID.

These makers are running after TRP just like most saas bahu serial producers do. They are seeing CID TRP fall and instead of trying to work out what's causing the problem or just running for 60 episodes and then calling it the end, they're deciding to "revamp" the show with daily show actors who have huge fanbases, controversies, and can't act to save the show.

If he's really coming in as ACP and if this is really what the makers want, then I'm out. I was watching this second season because they brought our beloved original actors back. I don't care for the show if some non-actor with a huge fanbase is going to suddenly lead the team and senior officers without any real pull. Watching the team call this guy sir is unacceptable and I will not bother with it.

I stopped after ep 12 cause i wasn't avle to watch without Freddy sir , decided to give this season another shot before getting to know about this yesterday....if this is the channel's final desicion then i have the old episodes to remind me how good this show used to be , i don't want this new season

My sentiments exactly!!

The makers are simply running behind TRPs without caring for the show, script and everything else. Instead of trying to work out their issues, they simply think that bringing in an actor with a large fanbase will solve the issue. That's idiotic.

Definitely!! If Parth is coming in as a permanent replacement ACP then I'm out. I quit... I started watching the show because of the trio. I am not watching any random actor replace any one of them.

Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman has been the backbone of the show. And now out of nowhere they bring in this actor (who looked ridiculous in the BTS videos btw; don't know about his acting "skills" because I haven't watched a single show of his) to lead the entire team? We have two senior officers who have been working for 20+ years and we have to see them be respectful to this new one? That's unacceptable... I am not watching that bullshit at all.

Agreed. Even though I missed Freddy sir, this new season was good. They had this weird phase in the middle with all those supernatural episodes, but overall they were doing a good job. But if this is what their final decision is, then good day to them. They can bring in new fans. This old fan is walking.

Yeah they can't expect the og fans to accept this new character

Tbh i would've had a hard time accepting the show with ACP gone even if they had made Abhijeet or Daya as ACP (cause ACP is ACP no offense to duo fans even I'm one of them) so this is beyond unacceptable for me

I understand. Everyone has their own limits. For me, while it would be hard to accept someone else as ACP Pradyuman, I would come to understand and accept it. It's life moving on. We can't expect the same officers to be in these roles forever. But I am asking for a more acceptable end, not ACP Pradyuman dying in a bomb blast and that's that.

Yeah if the channel.people were hell bent on doing this they could've given a dignified exit for ACP sir like a retirement.....why pull this stunt? Also the "in the memory of" post by SONY felt like they were rubbing salt over a wound
