The dialog that was missing in the episode (yesterday): "Why didn't you call me?"

Colors shows are high on crime, that is what I have concluded after watching its promos and 10 minutes of Laxmi everyday thanks to Mannat (yesterday, the female antagonist casually put the female lead's saree pallu on the stove burner and walked away.)

ARS is a typical example of the diabolical devil taking high ground. The woman had no qualms in leaving her new to die, she made several murder attempts on Mannat and Shruthi. She is now brainwashing the traumatised Shalini and luring her with a life in Dehradun.

She thinks just as her life was hunky dory when she moved places and adopted a new identity she thinks someone like Shalini should move on the day after she was raped and left to die.

Her thrashing of Bobby is not because he raped Shalini but because it might cause other truths to surface and other questions to be raised.

Bobby should tey to get even with ARS by targetting the dimwitted Malla. All f male characters seem to have an axe to grind with someone and are petty bitter women.

ARS has been destroying evidence and bribing folks left right and centre. Had it not been for Mannats honesty Shalini her brother and Bobby Raveena would have disappeared without a trail.

Mannat is at mezbani but is moving as if in a trance.The head chef is trying to keep Mannat busy at work to ensure she doesnt have time to think. Since the piece of evidence needs to be picked by Mannat it is necessary she is on the Restaurant.

The way I saw it, I just found a woman robbed of her agency just to save her child, no different than that of being coerced on a g*npo*int. It was brave of her to choose not to feel dirty/ashamed of what happened to her the way normally SA victims feel but that doesn’t mean that what she had to undergo for her child was anyway liberating from patriarchal societal norms! The problematic aspect was the love story b/w the two leads

Also pls don’t take it personally. I’m no one to judge anyone’s choice. Just trying to understand the thought process, that’s it!

It was wrong, but like Moor said the dialogues and FL and ML characters after were empowering.

Viaan had no idea of her situation, so It did not feel like he is taking her advantage. From his char pov he thought she is gold digger so he offered her money. If he knew about Katha’s situation and did that, then it was a blackmail and there was no point back.

And most importantly what was refreshing was She clearly told Viaan that it is you who is wrong that was such a shocker for an ITV viewer! Post that night it was Viaan in dilemma and guilt and not Katha. If that was brushed under carpet in Katha and they were shown to fall in love - I would have definitely not like it. But how they handled it- blame was put on man and not woman- that is what I liked.

Here- my issue is execution in this track, no emphasize on culprit and freedom he is granted in name of Shalini’s choice. No one is even thinking that that leechad is roaming free and can harm another girl?? (I am too stressed about him again going near Mannat and doing that)

In name of entertainment we watched home burning and freezer locking but this is bit too sensitive for lackluster treatment.
I understand perfect characters do not make story. the imperfections give plot point and we want to see progress from A to B- here we are stuck in loop.

Today's episode was a lesson in perspectives and morality!!!

Mannat is adamant on helping Shalini even if Shalini herself is not ready to file a case... this is how selfless some individuals are and they do not care if their personal lives are at stake or if they getting something out of it!! they just do it because its right...

Vikrant was trying to be the sensible, calm guy in making Mannat see Shalini's perspective... that probably she doesnt want to relive the trauma and wants to forget it as soon as possible!!!

Mannat counters that such traumas should be healed and never just treated!!! Her outburst and frustrations are heartbreaking as probably every female viewer has been through this in varying degrees at some point of time!!!

Vikrant resigns to supporting Mannat in whatever way he can...

Aigiri Nandini while Mannat is walking ahead and receives Mata rani's blessings is just

ARS manipulates Shalini in hospital and offers her money... blackmailing her with the disrepute and how it will impact her brother. Shalini agrees to stay quiet but is remorseful for her treatment of Mannat.

ARSs ulterior motive apart from protecting mezbani is protecting herself... as Shalini knows many of her deeds.

ARS surprised me a little bit today.... While she is hell bent on hiding Bobbys truth, she herself is livid at him... hits him, screams at him, calls him name... sadly her motives are selfish... a contrast to Mannat... so while ARS doesnt at all like what Bobby did... she will hide it for her own selfish reasons... early on ARS remarks for Mannat that our bloods may match but our intelligence wont... thats true... only that its emotional IQ at this point... ARS doesnt have high morals that Mannat has...

Bobby is unfazed and doesnt have an ounce of guilt.... Raveena on the other hand does show some guilt ...

Bobby remarks that this thappad that ARS gave him... bhaari padega.... I wonder now if his next target will be Malla instead of Mannat... in order to teach a lesson to ARS.

Did Derek and Laksh change names??? anyway... tall guy informs media and they reach the restaurant.

At home Salujas and Raisinghs are peacefully eating breakfast when everyone starts noticing the panicky behaviour of younger Saluja couple... Keerat Neetu taunt them when Raveena tells them they are planning to go back to London. Neetu notices the slap marks on Bobbys face as well.

at the restaurant... media starts attacking and Mannat very smartly turns the table on ARS. Tells everyone that mezbani should not be blamed... the perpetrator will be caught and mezbani owners are supporting the victim and cooperating with police. ARS has to fall in line. Vikrant is looking at both the ladies.

In between Mannat saves Vik from a mud ball and tells him she will not let anyone put any blame on him...

Breakfast people watch the live telecast and Dadu remarks about what would happen to mezbani. understandably Neetu is worried when Malla tells him ARS coached Mannat but she is adamant on telling the truth. Neetu is as expected (but not revealed) didnt like Mannat doing anything that will spoil Vikrants dream.

Just me or Gagan looked like he was perplexed at Malla and also questioning ARSs ploy to keep it secret?

In the last scene, Vikrant is disturbed... he wipes the mud from the logo and worries if his fervent dream will survive?

The reason I liked todays episode is because each of the women character presented a perspective on that same situation based on their values, motives, societal pressures and the mindset with which they have grew up... all explained initially through Mannats outburst.

Raveena was submissive for all her bold avatar otherwise. too meek to be stuck with the leechad husband and supporting him.

ARS is angry and upset at Bobby ... but has her selfish motives and hands tied as her future depends on mezbani. Doesnt have the guts to let go of her comforts for the sake of truth

Shalini is in a different trauma.. she wants to fight but doesnt have the courage to do so... moreover ARS exactly told her what Mannat herself was talking about with Vikrant .... how the society will blame the woman rather than the man.

Malla is shallow, self centered and privileged enough to not understand Shalinis pain and empathize with her.

Neetu Keerat are on a different tangent entirely...

I hope this track gets a good resolution.... its high time such topics get the treatment they deserve.

Gagan , I still can't make out his character and he seems to be thinking in most of the scenes if you go back and watch. So, not sure if he was thinking why Malla is spewing poison about her so called best friend or was he thinking what else does ARS knows he is trying to coverup and why

Red - word 🫂. This i felt in the last 2 episodes of how they are showing the reaction or no reaction of each and every character of the show regarding Shalini.

Here are my thoughts of the way the scenes played out in the episode , since bold brothered me aswell 😭

Why I was glad the Derek sold the news to a reporter.at a 1st glance the breakfast scenes look out of place, so did everyone working in the restaurant. This is when I guessed makers wanted to sensationalize and bring out the news of the rape along with showing reality of majority of the characters. Everyone had to be in the restaurant for the commotion to happen and Mannat getting the opportunity to reveal the truth. The breakfast scenes were to show how self centered the whole Saluja house folks are.

My thoughts regarding this entire track is that it should be dealt with sensitivity and sensibility.

It shouldn't be rushed hence I am fine if it takes weeks to finish.

Secondly we shouldn't be judging or even putting ourselves in stress over an episode. Although I understand it's triggering and traumatizing.

A better assessment would be when it finally ends. Let's trust the process 🙏

Go ahead do it . I felt the same but then thought they wanted to shoot the scene of ARS and Vikrant watching/listening from outside when Mannat was speaking to Shalini

I have been saying the same thing from the start .. this show is targeting safety of women workforce.. which happens all the time .. but if they are going to be casual about it . It will turn us off for good

Bobby has to go to jail . sonia has to be held accountable for the fridge and putting basti on fire
