Surya Dev increases his heat causing destruction on earth .

The effects of that was shown nicely

But maruti being shivanash

Managed to swallow Surya Dev.

Causing darkness all along

Today vajra attack by Indra

Then vayu dev will take all vayu from earth

Funny is both Surya Dev and Arun look younger than their sons 😄😄

They're playing some sort of theme song whenever they show Maruti doing something awesome. Its Hanuman Chalisa/Asthak or Bajrang Baan, not sure.

From what I know all the other Devas were not involved. In some versions Maruti blocks the Sun and in others he swallows the Sun instead of Raahu. This, we have an eclipse but it was Maruti's work instead of Raghu's.

What I couldn't understand was Vaikuntha and Brahma Loka getting dark. Kailasha is in Bhuvarloka and Indra Loka is probably the plane of the Solar System, hence those two can get dark when the Sun is missing. But Vaikuntha is above (or below if we believe the Universe is balanced on one of Sesha's heads) and far larger... How did that place get dark? Brahma Loka is also supposed to be above Swarga, so how is that one getting dark?

And the Earth and other planets magically remain in place without Sun's gravity

Maruti's conversation with Surya Deva was awkward to listen to. Why does everyone want Surya to reduce his brightness for others? Don't they realise that by doing so he would endangered the entire balance of the Solar System? He is that hot for a reason.

Also, Maruti scolding Surya for not saving Sampati when Sampati's own father was right there supporting Surya was...

Sugreeva being Surya's son wasn't affected by the excessive heat and was helping everyone. The effects were good.

Although I don't like the current portrayal of Indra and Vali, it was nice to see Indra's expression when Vayu threatened to withhold all the air.

Everytime Vali screams for his Devpita, it reminds me of the TTR scenes in the movie Anniyan.

Effects and all were good. That's never been bad.

But Vibhishan sorry Pawan Dev looked funny and extra hamming while so angry.

Instead Surya Dev was looking angry and wierd and evil.

They should have reversed the actors. Would have worked well.

Malhar can show anger well.

Also. Commendable from Mahir to play such contrasting double roles.

Always thought he would be great as Villainous Bali but Didn't knew he could play soft ones too.

Btw anyone knows who is YamRaj? Looks familiar.
