The novels I read come with word count. I googled and the results show that 70K to 100K should count as a full-length novel. Those who read on websites/Wattpad/other novel publishing platforms can use this as a standard, maybe!

Like I mentioned, we can choose to track word counts instead of page counts. That's the only thing I can think of. I read on Ao3 where all the fics have word counts mentioned. I think ff.net probably has them too, although I'm not sure. Been ages since I visited there or Wattpad. But even if the wc isn't mentioned directly, I don't think it's that difficult to track.

Tracking pages for fics really isn't possible. Oneshots can be any possible word count... 3k, 8k, 15k, 28.5k... anything the author chooses. Some fics will be chaptered with 1-2k words (again it varies vastly) in each chapter. Rn I'm reading a fic where each chapter has like 6-8k words (the latest is ch 9 which has 10k+ words) and the total word count so far in that fic is around 70k — with one last chapter yet to be published.

Maybe you guys can keep a standard conversion rate, like you're planning to do for the audiobooks (hrs/mins -> pages). Here we can have a standard like 300 words = 1 page, and we can convert the wc into page count and then record it. Idk, that's all I can think of 😅

This looks interesting, sign me up

I can read 1-5 books in a month

Also, is reading on Wattpad included? If yes, what's the standard (no. Of chapters or something like that)

Thats if I read a whole book in April. But I have already started so many books, and if I continue to read those into April, is there any way to count page numbers of specific chapters?

Usually all ebooks will also have a page count, so just use that to calculate the number of pages you read in April. If you're reading several books in April and don't finish any of them, the DNF rules will apply - just add the number of pages that you read in each book.

If you don't find page numbers, you can use the total page count and percentage read to calculate.

Journals, no. They will come under magazines and periodicals so we aren't counting those. But textbooks we can consider provided you commit to finishing 200 pages in a month. But they have to count as regular reading, not simply skimming through and/or consulting reference books.
