Coming to the next challenge which is cooking for Hina and Rocky’s wedding - I’m kind of surprised with some dishes, but since we’ve not seen much, I’ll reserve my comments. Maybe they turn out amazing.

Proper nhn dikhaya bus ek shot pe she is passing behind gaurav, and I am sure its her. I am amazed, gaurav's fanclubs have not spotted it yt.

Will there be an episode tomorrow? Or on monday? Promo said "kal dekhiye"

Enjoyed today’s episode, but not the tasting bit, clearly there was no constructive feedback. I find it hard to believe that judges who find faults out of thin air, thought everything was fine today.

I’ve not been an Archana fan, but even in BB, there was something about her. After this show, while I won’t call myself a fan, I’ve started liking her a bit.

Archana and Gaurav’s nok jhok is lovely. They’re like siblings who’re constantly at each others throat. Seems like a beautiful relation.

Also, Archana and Rajiv while annoying to some, I think they’re the life of the show. They love to trouble and hate each other. Yet, I have no doubt that they’d help each other out when time comes.

So, they’re talking about cancer but won’t use the word. I find that strange. And honestly, the whole world knows Hina has cancer, why milk it on national tv? I understand it gives people courage to see a celeb fighting it and do well, but in my opinion, but to show it on national tv is not something I think should be done.

Now coming to the tasting -

1. Archana and Usha tai - they made starters. Archana served a prawn cocktail. No innovation, nothing masterchef worthy. Maybe it tasted good, but to me it’s a simple dish. Usha tai surprised me in the sense that she tried to make something different. Sounded good. But what was special about her presentation that the judges liked it so much?

2. Dipika and Faisu - main course. Dipika made mohabbat ke kofte. The same dish is served in many restaurants in India and called shaam savera. So again, no innovation there. It looked good and it’s something I’d eat. But how did she manage to make more koftas in 5 minutes and finish plating, with such delicate presentation? I can’t imagine that would be possible. Faisu served cauliflower rice with some paneer and butter potatoes and Muhammara sauce and something else. Those potatoes looked so tempting. Even the paneer did. It was a good presentation but to call it his best, I’m not so sure.

3. Teja and Nikki - main course. Both made fish and rice. Teja’s fish to me looked more apt for what Rocky and Hina were looking for. They clearly wanted Indian food and that they were fond of Bengali food so some influence from there. Tejas rice looked quite nice to me. Nikki made ginger fish, which again looked nice. Liked the veggies on top. But honestly it was more of an international sounding/looking dish. Somehow I knew Teja or Nikki will get chef Ranveer’s knife, so no surprises there. Both I think used very large plates and to me there was a lot of negative space.

Rajiv and Gaurav - they made dessert. Rajiv made gulab Jamun with a coconut caramel sauce, panjiri and rose ice cream. His plate looked beautiful and I’d choose it in a heartbeat. But aren’t we now having a panjiri overdose? Gaurav made Nolen gur sandesh shaped like a modak with a pepper crisp and mango Shrikhand. I liked the thought behind shaping the sandesh like a modak. The plate looked good. I can’t imagine why the judges liked the dish, because I don’t like nolen gur, sandesh or shrikhand 🤣🤣. But then that’s just me and I’m sure it tasted good.

From team ladki wale Teja was obviously saved since she won the knife and Nikki was saved from team ladke wale. But in a sudden twist Gaurav was also saved, which I’m happy about but if they said two, they should’ve stuck to it.

Is it just me or did someone else feel the camaraderie between Nikki and Teja is made up and not real. Nikki was clearly not happy with Teja getting good comments or winning the knife.
