So yesterday’s episode continued with tasting, and I was surprised how reviews for Tejas dish was so different from Farah/Ranveer and Chef Ajay. It seemed so obvious that they want to hype Teja up.
Tai’s dish wasn’t very innovative, except that she swapped yoghurt for cream cheese. But then we all knew she’d only be praised.
Nikki’s chicken looked well cooked but the sauce on top ruined it for me. Looked like she’d just dumped sauce. She could’ve served it separately or drizzled it. Where was the colour in her plate? I only saw a piece of radish and no sautéed vegetables.
Rajiv’s plate on the other hand looked good like always. Sad that his kaffir lime curd turned out to be bitter.
Archanas playing looked so good. I’ve seen a chocolate tree with candy floss on a previous season of masterchef, but hers looked really good. I’m happy that she’s being praised for her culinary talent and not just made fun of.
Gaurav made a bread bowl filled with soup. I’ve been reading about what an amazing concept it is, but it’s fairly common. But still hats off to someone who made it as a non cook.
Archana and Gaurav deservedly won the seeti.
Coming to the next challenge which is cooking for Hina and Rocky’s wedding - I’m kind of surprised with some dishes, but since we’ve not seen much, I’ll reserve my comments. Maybe they turn out amazing.
