We heard you, and Dark Mode is now officially available on IndiaForums.com. By default, our website will follow your device's setting, but you can easily switch between modes using the toggle in the menu. Please note that some sections such as Member Pages, Private Messages, and the Help Center are still being updated to support Dark Mode. These updates will roll out soon!

🧩 Revamped Quiz Section

Our Quiz Section has undergone a complete transformation! Very soon, you'll be able to not only play fun quizzes but also create your own engaging quizzes to share with the community. Additionally, we will be introducing badges that you can earn by participating in quizzes. Stay tuned!

🎨 Enhanced Text Editor

Our Text Editor has been updated to ensure text colors remain clear and readable, whether you're using Light or Dark Mode. Additionally, we're reviewing older posts to match the text colors with our approved color scheme, making all content visually consistent and easy on the eyes.

🌐 Improved Language Preferences

We've significantly improved our language selection feature. Your preferred language option is now conveniently located right at the top of the page, making it easier than ever to enjoy IndiaForums.com in the language you love.

📸 Introducing Web Stories

We're excited to announce the launch of Web Stories! These are visually engaging short stories covering various topics of interest, designed to inform and entertain you. Look out for fresh Web Stories regularly posted on the site.

@b: I like these colours but they are too less. We had far more options before. One suggestion I would like to offer, a request is please incorporate a colour picker so that users can have their own choice of text colours. That way it’ll be even more nice. Please look into this request.

Dark mode needs to be toned down a little. I don’t know if I am the only one, but for me dark mode looks like high contrast mode tbh.

• Readability and Accessibility: Allowing any arbitrary color can lead to combinations with poor contrast, making text hard to read. Our current palette has been carefully curated to ensure that content remains legible in both light and dark modes.

• Consistent Visual Experience: Limiting the color choices helps maintain a consistent look across the platform. This consistency is crucial for user experience.

• Balanced Design: While more options might seem appealing, too many choices can result in selections that clash or appear kiddish. By restricting colors, we’re able to fine‑tune the overall aesthetic and ensure it looks good across all modes.

Regarding your suggestion for a color picker, it’s a valuable idea. We’re continually exploring enhancements and will definitely consider incorporating a customizable color picker in future updates. Additionally, we acknowledge your point about dark mode. We’ll review the styling to see if we can tone it down further so that it doesn’t feel as high contrast.
