@bold IMO, thier marriage wouldn't work anyway as it's one sided. Juhi wants to be with him but Niel doesn't. And Niel wasn't exactly hiding his feelings. The families are choosing to disregard Niel's lack of interest in marrying her. Niel’s being a red flag right now for Juhi. I agree Juhi doesn't deserve this humiliation but girl needs to be more observant in such matters as her future is at stake. From what I've heard from OG storyline, that's exactly what's she's gonna do.

Mukhta might be rooting for TejNeil's marriage but she already refused to fulfill his request. I doubt she'll change her mind anytime soon, and she's not constantly pushing Teju either. I don't understand how she's looking selfish here.

Unrelated but I feel bad only for teju in this entire situation. Her dad died, she discovers her parents marriage is kind of invalid (legally) she fell in love with a guy but got married to someone who loves her but she doesn't love him. Ps: because of neil and juhi (because she sits at her place in the wedding) she has to tolerate Leena (who's the most toxic mil I've seen in itv)

They had angst scenes where the ml was done dealing with the fl's crap and she suddenly realises she is in love with him and tries to win him over again.

Maa was the only show that TRP when up cause it came on after during the FIFA World Cup. So most serials either stayed stable or lost rating that aired during game time

Weirdly ghum only loses trp at weekend whereas on the semi final day it stayed consistent with 1.4 trp. Ig if it still stays consistent or boosts trp (which is bound to happen once they get married) idts ghum is off airing anytime post ipl till it drastically loses trp (because 7:30 slot kind off gives ghum a little more rope to stay)

As someone who grew up watching shows that starred amazing actors like Harshad Jen Barun Sanaya to name a few.., I find the new actors performances and screen presence very weak. Writing is crucial too but casting and screenplay is what I look for the most in a show. If you can't emote, then what is the point of having good writing?

I admired Niel’s (Gen 1) acting in Diya baati where he did a small supporting role. But in ghum, since he was given the lead role, I expected more from him.

I don't watch serials but definitely I have watched top IMDB series/movies and many Oscar award winning actors/films....so what I know about acting Neil was fab as Virat unfortunately makers didn't support character after a time....there were scenes where I knew he can emote out still makers kept him limited because they wanted to highlighted others....ghum was 1st show where even vamp and villain woh chhoro even side characters got better writing and narration....So I don't blame him.... He was good as Zakir, Ranveer and yes you can watch KB and Gulaal too....he was better there too....

I watched ghum1 firstly because of Sairat but later I realised drama had a major role .....I hate the way television play double standards and treat ML and FL differently and have special hate for parental kidnappers....
