as of now, that is speculation from people on twitter. They haven't mentioned anything about why abhira is not taking up cases in the bts or spoilers, yet.

they mostly have abhira do lawyer related stuff for parivaark kaleesh reasons anyways unlike armaan woh toh lakhs kamati hogi nahi, so her work can be offscreen and ussey unkey gareebiness par koi effect nahi hoga

Jo bhi karein, lawyer hi rahe vo. It has become a huge part of her identity and it wouldn’t make sense for her to give it up after fighting so hard to be one because unlike Armaan, she doesn’t have anything tainting her profession, instead it is her connection with her late mother.
