Actually i agree with this. Audience has changed, except khans and may be to some extent Hrithik, no one cares to watch movies just for actors any longer. Even for them, the theme of the movie makes a difference.

Like Srk said, they are the last of the stars. Ranbir, Ranveer , kartik and now Vicky have earned people's love but not the delusional love like the khans have. So they will need to continue working hard and provide good work before they can just churn out any work and makes movie a hit.

These fan wars are extremely boring to me that's why I tried to bring back the topic title. I agree with the change in the perception of movie-stars starting with the 40ies age bracket. The adulation that Salman and SRK get is - imo - of another colour than the love & liking Hrithik, Ranbir, Ranveer, Vicky etc. get. But still, they have their fans...and rightly so.

As for Chhaava, I definitely think that Vicky's (and Akshaye's) performance had been vital for the movie's success. As for Animal, I can't give a judgement about Ranbir's performance but as far as the comments about the movie can cast a light on Ranbir's importance for Animal's success, he seemed to have been given less importance than the display of unabashed violence,

No Clochette.......this was an attempt to bring down Ranbir's achievements.....no two ways about it......

People bring Ranbir(Alia) at the drop of hat ...in any topic....and I have no problem with it......my problem starts when Ranbir(Alia) fans are accused of reacting.......if you are going poke some one......be ready for the reactions........My way or the highway doesn't work here...

I also think that the topic was done with an agenda but I like the fact that one has a choice how to react. There indeed are movies where the content is what attracts the audience more than the lead actor(s). And then there are movies where the star is the content and a third possibility is that an actor/star enhances a content.

So, the Alia/Ranbir/Katrina etc. bashing is not my choice but the movie discussion .

All Actors need to work really hard, because more platforms are available to choose from. It's really that simple. People are less patient, and they can wait for anything on OTT!
