Role models in leads

There was a time when leads had some values and morals

That is because many youngsters in the audience which sees the serial or movie and will be influenced with the main leads characteristics

But look at the characters of both female leads and main leads on this show

Anuj kapadiya- never protected sister malvika because the person targeting her with false promise was his lover anupama's ex hubby because anuj scared that anupama may so no to marraige with anuj if he takes action on vanraj shah, never stood up to baby choti anu when shahs abused her, was busy taking care of shahs than his own family kapadiyas, never stood up for GK kaka, ankush bhai, choti anu, malvika etc when shahs targeted them

Rahi: Not bothered about anuj or his house etc easily adjusted to shahs who abused both her and her father, imagine rahi is staying with her fathers south house (which child will do that)

Prem- another horrible lead with no morals no values, way he behaves with kotharis is terrible. OK he hates his dad and step mom so why abondoned his sister, uncle, aunty and grand mom too. And why he humiliate his family in front of shahs who have wort morals and values than any other ppl on earth. Does he know all kaands his anupama ma, toshu, pakhi, bapuji, leela baa etc have done? Jo apno ke sage na hue woh prem ake kya sage rahenge yeh shahs

Anupama - honestly anupam ashould have never been an heroine character she has so many flaws and questionable morals and values, first after divorce also staying in shah house acting as if shes real vanraj shah wife and never allowing kavya to become family member of shahs. Jaise do talwar ek myan me nahi re sakthe anupama should have understood shah house is no longer hers its kavyas. If its kids take them with you and live separate house they are adults. But how can anupama do that she herself lived of mercy from anuj and malvika economically and roof over head wise, she never was independent in life. Also other than samar i doubt pakhi and toshu would move in with their mother. Second how she used anuj wealth to help shahs day and night, but the always humilated anuj and choti anu and she kept quiet everytime. How she brought mallati devi in house although anuj did not want it or maya. How she unilaterally told CA to leave with maya. How she left anuj house just because he told truth showed mirror. How in america she broke shruti and ca happy family. How she made anuj kangaal beggar on roads and eventually he died or disappeared shes least bothered. Shes busy serving shahs at 70 years

There is no problem in the lead having a bunch of flaws. The problem is not acknowledging the flaws and justifying deliberate wrongdoings.

The problem is not being punished for mistakes and encouraging to do the right thing.

The objective of this show was to show "Woman Empowerment". But nothing of that sort has been shown in this show so far. Rakhi Ji (Rakhi Dave) is the only empowered woman in this show. She did not depend on her husband for running Dave's Coaching Classes.

The makers had always white washed the blunders of both Anuj and Anupama.

The show was good in the initial days. It had many flaws but was atleast bearable. But it started going downhill after Anupama and Anuj's marriage.

YRKKH Gen 2 was so beautiful especially the initial episodes. Karthik and Naira had a charm which is missing in the leads now. I think the reason could be they want to glorify Anupama in each and every episode.

By the way what is the current age of Baa and Bapuji? These two are the actual villains of the show.

@bold1 : Marrying Anupama was Anuj's biggest blunder. We are given to believe that there was a long queue of girls behind Anuj in the US. He should have married in the US after setting up his own company. Had he married at the right age he could have had his own child. If his decision to marry Anupama was a stupid 1, even more foolish decision was adopting CA / Aadhya / Rahi from an orphanage. A newly married couple usually give sometime for themselves to get settled in their married life before planning to have children. But Anuj, who had not even thaught of getting married when he was in the US (Thanks to his unhealthy obsession for Anupama), hastily adopts Aadhya. Anuj and Anupama should not have got married.

@bold2 : Baa had always hated Anupama from day 1. She had never lost any opportunity to insult, humiliate and abuse Anupama. Toshu and Pakhi have learnt this vile behaviour of insulting Anupama and making her their punching bag from Baa and Vanraj. Whenever Bapuji comes to know that there is a Tamashah about to happen in SH, he either visits his friend or a temple. Bapuji had neither reprimanded his son nor Baa over their vile behaviour towards Anupama. Both Baa and Bapuji had ruined both Anupama and Anuj's life.
