The duo of Root and Duckett have steadied things nicely after the early dismissals of Salt and Jamie Smith. The ball is coming on quite nicely onto the bat with the odd ball gripping a bit. Duckett was dropped on 30 by Shahidi. Will that missed opportunity come back to haunt Afghanistan? Still a long way to go and the match is nicely poised. Everything at stake for both these two teams.
