Arunasur’s Desperate Quest for a Sister and His Downfall

Arunasur asks Diti to accept him as her brother, but she refuses, saying he is like her son. Meenakshi urges Diti to accept him, but Diti remains firm. Disheartened, Arunasur orders maids to tie Rakhi on his hand, but they refuse, leading Meenakshi to tell him he doesn’t deserve to be anyone’s brother.

Lord Shiv declares that Arunasur will not find a single sister, proving his misfortune. Lord Narayan warns that those who stray from the right path will end up like Arunasur—alone and unsupported. Despite Arunasur pleading with multiple women to become his sister, all refuse. When he tries to force a woman, she slaps him, and Meenakshi protects her. Desperate, Arunasur knocks on doors, begging for someone to tie Rakhi on his hand, even threatening to die if no one does.

Lord Shiv confronts Shukracharya and Diti, blaming them for failing to guide Arunasur. Diti and Shukracharya dismiss his warning and vow to oppose him. Meanwhile, Meenakshi declares Arunasur’s time is up. As people chant Bamridevi ki jai, Arunasur, realizing his mistake, apologizes to Meenakshi but flees in fear. He seeks refuge with Shukracharya and Diti, but they abandon him to save themselves

In the end, Meenakshi’s rage manifests as a swarm of bees that attack Arunasur. Lord Narayan warns that her wrath is dangerous for the world and only Lord Shiv can pacify her.
