Armaan - RK sequence was a major part of the episode.. Ar hugged RK and said all the right things acknowledging wholeheartedly all that RK had done for Shivani and even how he supported Abhira... But the dialogue on want to free you from the burden and financial compensation was not needed or should have better written, it felt insensitive.. After RK emotionally saying how he and Shivani were a family for all these years, making it a choice between Shivani and Abhira do not allow you to feel for the loss as you would have otherwise.. Pyaar vs Pariwar there was forced.. And then when he says he will take Shivani away where Ar can't even meet her ( not sure how he planned to) if Ar do not divorce Ab even after Armaan saying that it's their choice, he is not going to snatch Shivani and RK will remain a son - that was selfish and in a sense cruel as well because he would be depriving Shivani also of her son whom she missed all these years.. Not even getting into the absurd confidence that he has about Ab falling in love with him if she is away from Armaan.
Siddarth was good in today's episode also.
See RK being delusional makes sense. It was his way of punishing Armaan for taking away what he felt was rightfully his. While Shivani ke saath his rishta still made sense (I loved how even Armaan acknowledged that by saying that no one could take away the right of him being Shivani's son from him, not even Armaan himself), him asking for Abhira as a replacement was crass, but even that made sense. He also was in the same thought process that if Abhira & Armaan are not connected by a relationship & don't see each other, they somehow will forget the other, not realising that it would never happen. So I still have him a pass just today, because that man was the one who was truly devestated by the truth coming out
but also the way i see it, for him that’s his house/home, where he lives and she’s his mom. like he said to abhira, “what am i supposed to just leave her here, she’s need medical help and her son”, especially after being told in yesterdays scene by abhira that all your mom remembers is her aaru all these years. they have been apart for over 3 decades so he’s not going to leave her alone again.
