KJo now has a partner to whom he is answerable to..and has to share half his profits and losses with.He has to distance himself from his past and try to reinvent himself.He is doing that.His brand is DHARMA..He would and should go back to doing what he did when he took over the banner.

This was an interview with Lily Singh which was recorded months ago. Long before Poonwala came on board, though we don’t know how long ago negotiations had started. Anyway, what started this topic was KKHH and the changes in Anjali from a tomboy to a glamorous girly girl whose sari blows aside in the wind and exposes her midriff and catches Rahul’s attention. KJo basically acknowledged how wrong he was and the conversation evolved from there into the clip above. He talked about how he’s doing things the right way now and RRKPK was his example of that. I guess he’s pretending he never made ADHM 🙄 but I digress.

He never mentions Animal or any other director’s films in this interview. But I can see how that clip out of context can be interpreted as a dig on Animal and Vanga.

Karan has no opinions of his own. He reads through twitter and then regurgitates whatever was dominating his feed that day in a desperate need to be liked. There’s no point trying to make sense of any of it.

He is an evil opportunist. When Animal was fresh off success, his jamai raja walked away with all the major awards....he praised the film to the skies. Now that the tide has settled, he wants to cater to the other viewpoint to gain brownie points.

People lapup negativity with open arms and with so much excitement without even caring about knowing the facts beforehand.

Why we human r way too much into negativity and gossip ?????????

His standards are well taken, but don't seem to be working right now. He will quickly have to comply with his production-house partners.

Animal made over 900 crore on a 100 crore budget. It had the 3rd highest opening in Hindi movie history at that time. The main objective of movie production houses are to entertain.
