How can he say to his son to give a heir ( Boy )? With any natural conception - 50% chance that it can be a Boy or a Girl.

Unless, Ram Charan and his wife try IVF or surrogacy to get a male child.. ie they choose only Y chromosome to create a foetus

Sometimes you just want both boy and girl kids in your house...all good...my family has more boys than girls, so everybody was excited to the possibility of welcoming a girl baby when a couple was pregnant...but without any pressure or demand... equally happy for a boy kiddo too.

Here with Chiranjivi's remarks, everything including girls hostel can still fall under 'funny'. Wanting a boy is also cool. But then he talked about the boy baby being heir. 🤷🙆🤦🤦

Wanting a grandson because you don't have one yet is fine, but wanting one just to continue some sort of legacy is so patriarchal. What does he mean by girls can't uphold a legacy? Is he already planning for his grandson to join the industry? And specifically asking ram charan to have a son, so they can continue a filmy legacy lol

Why is anyone surprised here? Is it any different from what you hear on a daily basis in your day today lives? Just because someone is a celebrity, they don’t stop being a part of the society or behaving differently. This is the sad reality of the society that we live in. I say girls should just stop getting bothered by all this crap and focus on improving themselves and becoming self dependent.

I wouldn't blame an 'ordinary ' person for worrying about a male heir and legacy because let's face it ,we are still a highly patriarchal society and not having male children can be very tricky for people from a certain class who can't change conventions overnight. The guy who runs the shop across the street here is an elderly lower middle class Catholic man who has two daughters . The daughters only visit. Both him and his wife are at that stage where they need the presence of a child at home for support. It's considered 'shameful' for son's in law to live in the home of the wives' parents. Also shameful for the woman's parents to live with the daughter and her in laws. So he keeps saying he wishes he had a male child. Chiranjeevi is a rich and famous tw@t who can afford to live the way he wants to. If he wants a male heir its fine but wtf does he mean by the home turning into a ladies hostel. As if he's putting up with somebody else's children. The old larkian paraya dhan hai shit. The other bit is dangerous. " Give birth to a male child". A command. As if it's in anybody's control. Way too women are harassed,abused,even driven to the S word by people who have such insane beliefs. I used to know this lady whose husband dumped her because the mother in law was pissed that the second child was female. It was her 'fault'. Also for giving birth to a dark skinned daughter ,not a fair one like the first time.

It’s natural to ask for both genders. However that legacy thing also means girls in their family are restricted to do movies. I have to give it to Mohan Babu that he encouraged his daughter to do movies and given her freedom.
