So, a little concern from her side might be his trigger to finally let it all out the guilt, the hurt, and finally much-needed apology for everything he put her through.

I could be in the minority here.. but honestly I'm not sure I'm liking how this track is shaping up.. yeah Abhira Armaan are endgame and all that I get.. But the way they are going about this is just not great! When you bring in a character for a track, best to use them for that.. by dragging them along through every scene just because... is just plain lazy writing.

Forcing a jealousy angle in is fun for a track simply because it adds some value.. But making that the main reason for realisation of what wrong Armaan did with his wife of over a year with whom he's seen good and bad days and shared a baby's loss is just absolutely trivialising the relationship they shared for so long!! There were about 100 other ways for the realisation to be written.

Also, Abhira has the right to do whatever she wants she is no one's slave. But if I recall, neither was Ruhi when she was being all clingy in hope. Ruhi had wrong intentions and she was rightly called out for her actions and I still don't get how she's even become this person today without any explanation. But point is, Ruhi as a woman was still judged for wanting to dream/dance with about another man because of her questionable intentions! And Armaan was rightly bashed for not drawing clear boundaries. And today if Abhira continues to remain "friends" with this RK after he explicitly tells her how he feels about her, she'd be failing to draw clear boundaries as well. Especially if she's looking to seek his help with a matter that concerns her still lawfully wedded husband. About to be divorced does not mean divorced. And if that is what we are expected to focus on, then she would be better off not digging into this at all.. that too taking the very person's help whose even presence she knows absolutely annoys Armaan. But if really, she thinks that since she has rejected the proposal she can continue to be friends I suppose she won't be any better than Armaan was. And I for one don't have a problem with that.. but I know many think Abhira is a better human than Armaan then I suppose you'd not expect her to make the same stupid mistakes that he made, would you!

And lastly I don't even want to talk about just how shoddily the Shivani track is being dealt with!! Hopefully that gets better next week.

P.S. - yes, I'm disappointed with the show currently. but.. I still am following the show because I'm invested in the characters of this gen. Not here just to rant about a show I detest.

Maybe Vidya is the one who caused this realization? Considering that she's the one who caused Armaan to do all this. Even then I agree, it could have been done better. But let's see how they implement this.

Two people can continue to be friends even if one party has feelings for the other that aren't reciprocated. However, expectations need to be addressed and boundaries need to clearly be drawn. And even then, sometimes the friendship can't continue as it depends on the situation. In Armaan and Ruhi's case, her intentions weren't pure and Armaan should have drawn boundaries between them better. Both of them were rightfully called out for this. RK has been told outright by Abhira that she doesn't feel the same way, and yet, he's continuing to pursue her. That's wrong and in this case, what kind of friendship is there? He's gonna make Abhira uncomfortable and she should draw clear boundaries here. If Armaan was called out then, Abhira should be called out now. If RK accepted Abhira's no, then we could have still accepted this friendship, but trying to turn a no into a yes, even though the one that you're pursuing is clearly not interested in you is completely wrong and creepy.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for the Shivani track next week. Otherwise, we'll have more spirited discussions about DKP's lousy execution skills.

Bold - This right there. You've answered the question yourself for me. Who is RK to become anybody for Armaan? We still don't know what his intentions are at all. What we do know is he has romantic feelings for Abhira. And that takes out any need for him to hang around her or Armaan long term. Just in terms of character also, RK has been caring for a woman like his mother. That makes him a good human being. But proposing to a woman one week or two days before she's about to be divorced without even waiting to see that through doesn't scream smart to me unless I'm really missing something here. And honestly neither does wanting to help the woman you love in her quest to find her soon to be ex-husband's mother. Chalo Maan liya he did it for her sake, any sensible and smart man would say I don't want to be there when Armaan finds out about his mother because it's his story and emotion to deal with. And I can't talk for others, but personally for me, I think that he's also a terribly annoying actor and his looks don't help him either. But that's only an add on to what his character has to offer.. certainly not why I dislike him in the narrative!

RK is a human being? Two humans meet and bond. That's how friendship develops.

Also, we don't know RK's intentions because RK is a character in a dkp show where intentions change like changing clothes. So a person who might be sensible on day 1 can turn complete psycho on day 7.

But that's not the point. The point is that RK is not a perfect man, his proposal to Abhira is wrong. Not only because of her martial status because is hanging by a very precarious thread as of now. But also because Abhira has always been very clear her relationship with Rk is completely platonic.

But then no character is perfect. SO, if we give so many chances to other characters, I would like to extend the same courtesy to RK. Hope. That he would back off, turn a new leaf, and maybe prove a great to both the leads

I mean even after Sajan ji Ruhi is still hanging around in PH. Is she not?

And i think my answer sort of covers many common points of view I have noticed here.. also Ruhi is hanging around sure, but I doubt she's extended the same courtesy even after she's turned a new leaf.. so by this yardstick, we should acknowledge that Ruhi also is human and has backed off and turned a new leaf, right? But are we? Well I know I'm not.. Ruhi still irks me and so does RK!
