Episode 6 Written Update

The episode opens with Dhananjay expressing suspicions about his wife, Madhuri, to his nephew, Lakshay, questioning her fidelity. Lakshay firmly denies any such insinuations. The family, led by Digvijay, arrives and chastises Dhananjay for doubting his wife. Despite their efforts to reason with him, Dhananjay remains obstinate, attributing all his life's failures to Madhuri. Dadi sides with Dhananjay, blaming Madhuri for not bearing a child, which she believes has brought misfortune to the family, causing Madhuri to weep. Narayani offers emotional support to Madhuri and urges her sons to cease the arguments, reminding them of their cousin's upcoming wedding. Ishaan apologizes to Madhuri on behalf of his elder cousin and attempts to lighten the mood.

In the subsequent scene, the women of the Gandhi household are shopping for sarees. Ishaan seeks Digvijay's assistance in selecting a saree as a gift for Rani. Initially reluctant, Digvijay eventually selects a Rani-colored saree to help Ishaan in another shop. Ishu calls Devyani to inquire about her ring size, but Devyani responds that she doesn't know and will check later, as she is currently at Rani's house, where a family is visiting to consider Rani for a marriage proposal. Digvijay overhears this and advises Rani to speak less in front of the Bhimani family. Rani dislikes this and they engage in another argument. Devu ends the call when Rani's sister-in-law arrives to take them out.

Mrs. Bhimani expresses her approval of Rani, confirming the marriage proposal and instructing the family to proceed with the arrangements. However, Rani stands up and informs Mrs. Bhimani of her desire to continue her studies to pursue her dreams, effectively halting the alliance. Mrs. Bhimani is displeased and leaves, calling off the alliance.

Later, Digvijay's family returns from shopping, and engages in the discussion of the wedding plans while Digvijay leaves for the hospital. Ishaan accidentally bumps into Lakshay, causing a saree to fall. Pinky asks Lakshay to bring the saree to her, and the family inquires about whom Ishaan bought it for. Ishaan reveals that he purchased the saree for Rani, leaving everyone in shock.
