Industry tracker Dr. Aazim Kassi also weighed in on the film's excitement, posting a strong 4.5/5 rating, which he claimed was based on the Censor Board report. He praised Ajith Kumar's career-best performance, describing it as a standout moment in the actor's career. Aazim Kassi also commended director Magizh Thirumeni for expertly connecting multiple time zones within the second half of the screenplay, making the film a compelling repeat-worthy experience. Ajith Kumar’s much-anticipated film Vidaamuyarchi has released in theatres on February 6. The film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, has also received permission for 9 AM special shows by the Tamil Nadu government.

The film, set against the backdrop of Azerbaijan, also stars Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav, and Vijay Ramya. Anirudh Ravichander, the man behind Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Darbar music, has composed songs for the film. The Tamil action-drama has been given U/A certificate by CBFC. Vidaamuyarchi is expected to have a grand opening with an estimated box office collection of Rs 40 crore.

The film is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 200 crore with Ajith Kumar’s remuneration falling between Rs 110 to 120 crore, according to Koimoi. The Ajith Kumar-starrer has already raked in Rs 8.86 crore in advance bookings by selling about 4-8 lakh tickets for 5863 shows, according to Sacnilk.
