It's interesting that since some months movies directly get called out for allegedly manipulating numbers...former it was more or less not giving movie names like this but making people speculate.

It may happen that (so-called corporate) payments are already fixed in advance (Badass is distributed bei AA Films, btw.)

Only the audience can show that they don't buy these tactics but I suppose, in this times, certain producers/distributors won't stop...there certainly is enough dirty money stocked that has to be 'white-washed', either through budget numbers or otherwise.

I just read a post here about a 200 cr budget Tamil movie where the lead actor allegedly got 100 cr as renumeration... Film people throw around crores when the majority of the population has to struggle to get money for a basic living.
