Abey ek banda neeche gira huya ho toh soya hota hai, when there's like the entire party on the ground (that too outside in the lawn), it's called death. Inko chor kisne banaya bey? Zara mujhe uska naam do.
And then the smarty-pants decide - ooh let me try and awaken these "sleeping" people so I get caught. Deva re deva kya chor hain.
2 and a half minutes in...BLUE LIPS! Poisoning. Chalo case solved. Tomorrow I'll be a CID officer as well.
I will say that the blue lips reminded me of those purple lips that Ash had during Cannes.
Chalo first bad actress of this season.
The overdone crying by Anwesha was reminiscent of the bad character actors we used to have in the first season. And umm...since when is a board member, a company employee?
Pankaj - Naa toh mummy ka phone hai naa toh daddy ka. Toh aap ko chitti aayi thi ke koi kabootar. Comedy karne mein bhi timing hoti hai. And Pankaj's timing is always spot on.
The scene in the forensic lab between Pankaj, Dr. Salunkhe, and Dr. Gargi was both fun and showed Pankaj's investigative side well. Par aisa kyun lag raha hai ke we're going to have a Tarika-Abhijeet part 2 in Gargi-Pankaj?
Umm I'm a bit confused. The way Dr. Salunkhe designed the model of the house, Malika was lying right under the balcony. So how did she fall from the balcony and die? I mean while falling did wind blow her under the balcony?
Charcoal as an antidote? Nice! Rather unique and it does work, so kudos. Was a nice piece of forensics and chemistry.
Chalo ek murderer toh pakda gaya. Ab ek aur and ek blackmailer. But Suraj and his entire company is full of idiots. When you are testing a new product out for the first time, who tests it on humans? Literally every car company tests it out on robots or dummies!
Shagun has a point. The corporate world is rather cutthroat, especially for small companies like ANQ (or whatever the name was) who are working on new inventions and trying to muscle their way in. And it's different around the world, but basically it is quite cutthroat all around. But for that you don't just go around killing those you have disagreements or problems with. But puhlease...just because you aren't a murderer doesn't mean you can't be behind something else. 99.9% yehi blackmailer niklegi. Aur iska boyfriend Ishan murderer.
Hmm the way the team caught the robbers and from there they went after the ice bucket was a well done move. And I like that they didn't just know that the ice bucket was potentially full of poison. It was something they discovered afterwards.
Abhijeet just telling Purvi to be careful was sweet. I like that about CID. No one treats the female cops as lesser. In too many shows, the female cops/detectives are usually shown as not as strong or still needing protection. Not in CID. Just like Abhijeet would tell Daya to be careful, he just tells Purvi to be careful and to call if she needs anything. Thank you CVs for this difference in CID.
Shagun being the blackmailer was something I already wrote above. That's typical in corporate world. You want to bring someone down, just blackmail them once you know something about them. Sure shot way to bring them down.
The way Pankaj caught Babua was both funny but so resourceful. And then the way he interrogated Babua was great.
Chalo I was also right about Ishan. Writer Ekaurlekhak (aapka naam toh nahi pata hai) when you want a criminal not to stand out, (1) don't introduce them at a time another suspect is being questioned and (2) don't make them fight/argue with CID immediately. Ishan did both so it became very obvious he was the murderer.
Overall verdict: A good episode overall. Some issues/questions, but nothing that was a blaring loophole. I'd give this one a 4 out of 5.
