Yes, even I was shocked to see the tweet. I can't imagine forensic lab scene without Dr. Salunkhe after all he belongs to the OG cast.

I think the show should explore some good two-part story arcs so that forensic team gets more to do. As of now, the team is small, so supporting characters (outside the trio) can get more screentime in multi-episode stories.

He replied to one of the tweets by thanking his fans for feedback, while mentioning that he is unhappy with Sony TV and the CID team as they are not utilizing his talent. He has even considered leaving the show.

@ Bold: I'm not surprised. In original season he definitely had a bigger role in many episodes. Here he's been relegated to a few minutes at most per episode.

I don't even know what are they trying to do in this they are not reliazing what had made cid different from other crime based shows "PERSONAL ANGLES". ACP and Salukhe sahab friendship, DCP chitrole ka nonsense interferences time to time Evergreen Abhi daya ki friendship Koi kuch bole but tarika and abhi and daya shreya ki cute stories also played major role Forensic lab discussion are integral part of the story too

Abey ek banda neeche gira huya ho toh soya hota hai, when there's like the entire party on the ground (that too outside in the lawn), it's called death. Inko chor kisne banaya bey? Zara mujhe uska naam do. smiley7 And then the smarty-pants decide - ooh let me try and awaken these "sleeping" people so I get caught. Deva re deva kya chor hain. smiley24

2 and a half minutes in...BLUE LIPS! Poisoning. Chalo case solved. Tomorrow I'll be a CID officer as well. smiley16 I will say that the blue lips reminded me of those purple lips that Ash had during Cannes.

Chalo first bad actress of this season. smiley37 The overdone crying by Anwesha was reminiscent of the bad character actors we used to have in the first season. And umm...since when is a board member, a company employee?

Pankaj - Naa toh mummy ka phone hai naa toh daddy ka. Toh aap ko chitti aayi thi ke koi kabootar. Comedy karne mein bhi timing hoti hai. And Pankaj's timing is always spot on. smiley37

The scene in the forensic lab between Pankaj, Dr. Salunkhe, and Dr. Gargi was both fun and showed Pankaj's investigative side well. Par aisa kyun lag raha hai ke we're going to have a Tarika-Abhijeet part 2 in Gargi-Pankaj? smiley2

Umm I'm a bit confused. The way Dr. Salunkhe designed the model of the house, Malika was lying right under the balcony. So how did she fall from the balcony and die? I mean while falling did wind blow her under the balcony? smiley24

Charcoal as an antidote? Nice! Rather unique and it does work, so kudos. Was a nice piece of forensics and chemistry. smiley32

Chalo ek murderer toh pakda gaya. Ab ek aur and ek blackmailer. But Suraj and his entire company is full of idiots. When you are testing a new product out for the first time, who tests it on humans? Literally every car company tests it out on robots or dummies! smiley24

Shagun has a point. The corporate world is rather cutthroat, especially for small companies like ANQ (or whatever the name was) who are working on new inventions and trying to muscle their way in. And it's different around the world, but basically it is quite cutthroat all around. But for that you don't just go around killing those you have disagreements or problems with. But puhlease...just because you aren't a murderer doesn't mean you can't be behind something else. 99.9% yehi blackmailer niklegi. Aur iska boyfriend Ishan murderer. smiley16

Hmm the way the team caught the robbers and from there they went after the ice bucket was a well done move. And I like that they didn't just know that the ice bucket was potentially full of poison. It was something they discovered afterwards.

Abhijeet just telling Purvi to be careful was sweet. I like that about CID. No one treats the female cops as lesser. In too many shows, the female cops/detectives are usually shown as not as strong or still needing protection. Not in CID. Just like Abhijeet would tell Daya to be careful, he just tells Purvi to be careful and to call if she needs anything. Thank you CVs for this difference in CID.

Shagun being the blackmailer was something I already wrote above. That's typical in corporate world. You want to bring someone down, just blackmail them once you know something about them. Sure shot way to bring them down.

The way Pankaj caught Babua was both funny but so resourceful. And then the way he interrogated Babua was great. smiley32

Chalo I was also right about Ishan. Writer Ekaurlekhak (aapka naam toh nahi pata hai) when you want a criminal not to stand out, (1) don't introduce them at a time another suspect is being questioned and (2) don't make them fight/argue with CID immediately. Ishan did both so it became very obvious he was the murderer.

Overall verdict: A good episode overall. Some issues/questions, but nothing that was a blaring loophole. I'd give this one a 4 out of 5.

Yaar kafi lamba feedback diya hai aapne. as a writer of this episode, i would like to first of all thank you for giving your inputs. One input I have from my end however would be - one thing people dont understand is jo writer likhta hai, by the time u see it, that script changes by 20%, and thats a minimum. so kafi questions hai i can not answer, but that gives u a gist. plus, production costs get so high, shortcuts lele pad jate hai at times, and that does offend audience at times :) .

As for when the culprit is to be introduced, is also something i can not control. In the bank robbery episode for example, the female antagonist introduction was improvised on set :)

Baki most of the decisions on the final product are not of the writer, thats all am trying to say. Thanks for watching! And mera naam dhund paoge try karoge to :) Keep watching CID!

Thank you! Don't worry, most of my post isn't feedback about the episode, but rather just in general. I like to rant about how stupid some people are (or are being shown to be) like the robbers at the beginning of the episode. smiley36

Hmm production costs and taking shortcuts makes sense. After all, if the show isn't meeting budget then it will get shut down earlier (I haven't been on the side of production myself but one time I did manage to get one my stories to a producer who shot it down saying it would be too costly though they really liked the idea).

Hehe well maybe for culprit introduction make it less obvious then. I mean Ishan literally walked in and immediately took the defensive stance. It was very obvious the moment he did that. Just having him sitting there in the background would have been less obvious and would have added to the shock factor when he was revealed as the murderer.
