As for the second bit about Abhir - I completely agree that Armaan behaved like a complete douche bag. Which is why I feel that to make up for it, yeh khud Abhir ki shaadi karwayega with Charu, rather than beat him for putting dore in Charu as some of assumed earlier. It will be his way of doing photos with Abhira & Abhir

Exactly! People were literally throwing chillar at Abhira as if she were a beggar and despite of having witnessed all of this, himmat kaise hui to do what he did today? Wasn't his intention of humiliating her publicly, to make her stay away from him? Divorce toh Hine hi jaa raha hai. Toh ab kyun revenge lene wapas aa gaya?
