The correct interpretation of divorce in the Qur'an should be made. In verses 222-231 of Surah Al-Baqarah, there is a clear command from Allah. When a man divorces a woman, he is instructed to wait to determine whether she is pregnant. This waiting period is not 3 months, as understood in modern medicine. A woman can know if she is pregnant the day of the divorce. The following verses instruct that if the woman is pregnant, she should not conceal this from her husband. And it adds, either live together in kindness, or part ways amicably. If they continue their relationship and later separate again, there is no issue with reconciling. However, after the third divorce, for them to reunite, Allah requires the woman to marry another man and then separate from him. If interpreted correctly, you can understand it like this: If a couple does not want to reconcile, they are divorced. You can also understand this from the phrases: "Either live together in kindness or part ways amicably."

I actually expected a scene where sadaf asked bilal whether he will also do same like ammar if they got married and wanted to see his answer. Bilal would definitely say this promo dialogue to her that he will never even think about a girl let alone meeting her like that. Shaadi ke baad kya even now he ain’t doing that to any girl and mostly thinking about sadaf.

Hey...I was hoping for the same when I heard this dialogue ( and he is saying that to that Ammar!!!!) And I also imagined the famous 'Bilal Abdullah ne appse ishq kiya hai, dillagi nahi!' in the same conversation Not sure how all that will come in the drama, but one can dream, no?smiley42smiley27

From what I understand from both the phone call with Bilal and her actions regarding the affair with Amaar... Sadaf insists on going out with Bilal, but he refuses. She reminds him of the promise she made to her mother and to Amaar. In response, Bilal says that if her mother agrees, they will go out for a meal together. He tells his mother, "Let me go out with Bilal, and I will apologize to Amaar. If he wants me back, I will return to him." His mother agrees, and they go out for dinner. When Amaar finds out, he tries to commit suicide. Afterward, there’s a mutual confession of love, followed by rain and dancing. After the rain, Bilal takes Sadaf to his house, where her clothes get wet, and she changes. She falls asleep on the couch. In the morning, Bilal wakes her up with a rose. Later at work, Sadaf gives Bilal a rose. Bilal says that it’s not right for them to stay together, and to keep her away from both Amaar and himself until the divorce is final, he sends her abroad. The story continues with a few romantic scenes (like Bilal buttoning his shirt for her), then ends with a time skip where Sadaf is playing with her children, and Bilal says, "Mirza Sahap’s daughter is still very stubborn."

From the final scene with Dania and Amaar, you can tell that Dania definitely left Amaar because of the following reasons: Dania spoke morally for the first time, wore normal clothes, and did her makeup. Dania’s arrival only accelerated revealing Amaar’s true character. Even if she hadn’t come, his true face would have eventually come out. Sadaf’s first visit to Bilal’s was when Amaar’s insecurities started. There was no actual relationship between them. It wasn’t Dania who ruined the marriage, it was Amaar’s complete lack of trust in Sadaf. If there’s no trust in a marriage, then there’s neither respect nor love. Amaar never really loved Sadaf. He disguised his stubbornness and selfishness as love, both to himself and to Sadaf.

The premise is so strong when you look at it like that. I was just thinking about the cast the other day—what if Wahaj had played Ammar’s role n someone like Shehryar or Hamza Ali Abbasi had taken on BA’s role? The show would have been a far better product. Yes, there are issues with the writing and execution, but the acting from a few cast members completely ruined the show for me.

Ammar's was definitely a bigger and more meatier role than Bilal Abdullah. A good actor could have done a lot with the character transitions from being a nice guy to gradually revealing his true colours, making it interesting and mesmerizing to watch. I saw teasers of the new ARY drama Dastak and Feroze Qadri seems to be playing an Ammar kind of role. In Manjali, Mikaal played the Ammar equivalent role, whereas the Bilal role went to a lesser known actor.

Though I would not have Wahaj do any role in this drama but Ammar ka character needed a better and more prominent actor. Ammar and Bilal should have been played by actors at equal level for Sadaf's dilemma of who to choose to seem valid, and for Ammar to act as an appropriate foil/contrast for Bilal - light/dark, sun/moon, oonchai/neechai.

Usama/Ammar false marketing ka shikaar hai. Acting above average hai par drame ki false marketing ki wajah se hate mil rahi character ko bhi aur actor ko bhi.

I might be in minority, but I have fairly less complains about SMD. And my major complain is how unwatchable the whole Ammar - Dania scenes are. It'd be a much better viewing experience if those character portrayals were better - I know I am not supposed to like those two characters, but they are downright unbearable! Especially all those crying scenes - Men crying on screen can be such a deal breaker, if done right you'll cry with them, if not, well...you know. So, I was also thinking that what if Wahaj was given Ammar’s role - we'd hate the character, but definitely would have enjoyed his performance at least. Even if the character is pathetic, lying cry baby, who has self-victimization tendencies! And I also feel that a better actor could have brought out the layers of Ammar’s character - which were actually given enough screen space to explore.
