The correct interpretation of divorce in the Qur'an should be made. In verses 222-231 of Surah Al-Baqarah, there is a clear command from Allah. When a man divorces a woman, he is instructed to wait to determine whether she is pregnant. This waiting period is not 3 months, as understood in modern medicine. A woman can know if she is pregnant the day of the divorce. The following verses instruct that if the woman is pregnant, she should not conceal this from her husband. And it adds, either live together in kindness, or part ways amicably. If they continue their relationship and later separate again, there is no issue with reconciling. However, after the third divorce, for them to reunite, Allah requires the woman to marry another man and then separate from him. If interpreted correctly, you can understand it like this: If a couple does not want to reconcile, they are divorced. You can also understand this from the phrases: "Either live together in kindness or part ways amicably."
