i knew KRQ is showing sadaf's mother in positive light whether people like it or not and today bilal said the same thing which confirms that KRQ supports this idea.

KRQ might have done this type of ghalti himself which he thinks should be forgiven

See I don’t mind them showing regressive thinking in itself because people do think regressively…just don’t make it be right.

Humsha I feel may have her own reasoning. Sadaf’s mom I wanted to just validate Sadaf’s feelings at least, considering what her character has been like but fine I’ll even accept she’s the typical south Asian mom.

I hated what Bilal said but it actually makes sense that he would think like that considering his childhood trauma. I felt it was more realistic than Farzana saying the same thing. This is more realistic to me than him suddenly changing his mentality altogether. I don’t have any issues with him challenging Sadaf’s sudden change of heart and not getting involved with Sadaf while she is still married. However it’s wrong for him to tell her to forgive his “mistake”. It’s especially wrong for him to make that distinction between man and woman. I’m glad Sadaf challenged that. While it’s true that most women forgive a cheating male partner while most men don’t, that doesn’t mean it’s the right way for things to happen. That’s a sad fact that should change.

If all these people end up being right or they’re trying to portray it as the right kind of advice then this will be worse ending for me. They should regret their advice. From what I’ve heard about the writer though, I’m scared that he’ll make them right. They spent so much time showing Sadaf put so much into this marriage and even sacrificing so much of herself to save this marriage, so I hope in the end they don’t make it seem like she should forgive him.

My opinion on everyone’s regressive thinking depends on the ending. If she goes back to Ammar, I hate what the messaging will be.

If I were Sadaf, I would just a trip somewhere all by myself away from everyone! I wouldn’t be able to handle the constant guilt trips.

I fear that Bilal would see his father in Ammar’s position. We know that Dania would betray him and he already thinks what he did is forgivable. That is the conflict which would prevent him from accepting Sadaf.
