Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics
I loved it... Honestly S1 was much better (because of the backstory of the 4 "suspects" was so interesting, atleast 3 ki thi, Kabir, not so much) and because they got to explore the systems, divides in that season because of the characters (and maybe even the states they picked) much better than that of the characters here and Nagaland.
Performances, as expected were great. Jaideep Ahlawat kills it in every scene, and Gul Panag complements him so well.
Idk if it's just me, but Ishwak had this charm about him in S1, the horror show he did on Prime and in Berlin, which I felt was missing till episode 4 when he and Jaideep decide to drop the formalities. I was worried they'd focus too much on Hathiram's insecurities, but they did it so well without rubbing it in our, good writing there.
Tilottama, like I said, was a good addition, Idk why she was talking in italics. Like her accent was misplaced, ik it was to show that she is an outsider, but she didn't make it work. But otherwise, she could just stand like a robot and she'd be perfect.
I love how pataal lok has us and hathiram know the whole truth and hathiram has to keep some stuff under wraps because of "greater good" and us with the conflict of is greater good worth the lives. The team really has good writers.
Last season had hathiram conflicting between the "swarg" and "pataal" lok and the cinematography in this one where it's all about "pataal lok" was done well, it's not just the scenic nagaland view, but even in those views, it's the messed up people and situation who it's about.
Hope Clean Slatez continues giving such good projects.
A great weekend watch.
Is it produced by Anushka Sharma s brother?
I loved s1 and enjoyed s2
The characters were wonderful and looking forward to a s3
I enjoyed Season 2. but for me, Season 1 was more multifaceted and layered, and the ambience was slightly different for this season.
Jaideep carried the entire show, I am so happy for him, following his work since Commando.
