This is actually a problem.
Now I'll be very honest here, while I was really annoyed with the focus on Rajat instead of Savi, having read and seen CUSTODY and YHM respectively, I understand where Rajat was coming from and even though his trauma isn't as severe as Savi's, it's enough to ruin someone or change someone.
So when they toned him down a little and added a few things, I genuinely started liking SaRaj.
My problem began since the assault event. It doesn't matter whether Savi told Bhavi ILU or not, no one can't and shouldn't use that as an excuse to justify their actions. With that one incident, Rajat himself or I would say makers, destroyed everything they built until then.
After that, I wanted Savi to get out or end up with Bhavi or whatever.
Then I thought given the time there's ample time Rajat could redeem himself but even here the makers are hell bent on focusing on the negative aspects.
Bhavika and Hitesh are good actors. Credit where its due, despite the unnecessary bashing from a portion of audience they were still able to generate a fanbase and improved their TRP which is next to impossible after destroying an already established ship (IshVi).
So yeah, I understand the hype around HitVika. But like you said, audience should have protested so makers were forced to either redeem Rajat or break them off because logically speaking, Savi shouldn't end up with him so easily after that horrible incident.
And now again, they just killed off Kiaan randomly, with God knows what idea. So we'll have to see how much lower can they stoop in terms of negativity.
As for Kiaan, yes, both of his parents are responsible for his nature, and Rajat even more because he had the chance to be strict in a lot of situations but he simply handed Kiaan everything on a golden platter, further fueling his attitude. So yeah, I agree.
Now coming to the fire incident, it was absolutely rubbish and there lies my biggest problem. Bhavi pointed out Rajat doesn't know anything about Savi and he made it a mission to make her an IAS officer to assuage his guilt. But as usual he's missing the whole point. He still doesn't know how SaiRat were dead. He still doesn't understand Savi loved Ishan dearly that she remained single for 7 years. If not for Sai, Savi would never think about getting married to him either. He just doesn't want to delve in. He wants ready-made solutions.
With Sai, he got lucky because Savi was there every step of the way, taking the lead in making the child happy and confident. But when it comes to Savi, whether it's Rajendra or Aman or Shantanu - someone has to push him. And that's where the makers have missed their opportunity because given a proper script, Hitesh could make it work and they would get better TRP, hopefully.
