it’s not stupid to look for love if he cannot walk right now. Some people even fall in love right after they get into some major accident, it’s not unusual. I don’t agree with him going after someone from Poddar family, but do you expect him to just cry all day because of his legs? He is at least optimistic. If he keeps thinking about how to “cope with everything life has thrown at him”, he will get depressed.

You edited your comment so as for how he fell in love with just after some texts, I wasn’t talking about that. I was only talking about the other things you said.

he was suicidal few days back and now he is flirting with sister of ex BIL on text messages and proposing. makes no sense.

its not about handicapped people being ineligible for love. its about the overall picture. he knows the rivalry. infact he knows that the rishtaa has no future when families are like this. his sister is separating from Charu's brother. if anything he should be telling himself not to fall for someone like charu and staying away knowing all these things. he looks utterly irrational, insensitive.

my point was never about Abhir being handicapped and hence should be single, give up on love and pity himself forever. my point has always been that his actions RIGHT NOW are coming across utterly stupid.
