Problem is not Arjun stance but Sant Sayali's changulpana. She will never hurt the ones she adores and consider family.

What we have seen till now, Arjun is practical, righteous, balanced and hard nut to crack so he could see Priya's fake attitude whereas he has also seen Sayali's changulpana. He knows that the girl who sacrificed herself to save her foster father,was angry with him when she heard he is delaying the case, is giving sweets on sankranti for the family who threw her out of the house, she still doesn't have bitterness for the whole family will again sacrifice her love if aaji or Kalpana or MB does not agree for their marriage.

I really hope Arjun reads her diary as Sayali read his letters.

After Sayali confession, Arjun can fight strongly but the point is he knows that his love interest is too innocent and will never go against people like Raviraj aaji and Kalpana as well as MB whom she respects and considers family.

She will stand strongly only if she sees he is in danger or when it comes to her self-respect may be she will protest and raise voice. few times we have seen her giving sense to ARJUN, aaji, kalpana, Chaitanya, Ashwin and best was to Priya and Asmita

May be Sayali version 3.0 Will be better, a little bitter but truthful and righteous
