True that. But see there are some directors who elevate even mediocre scripts. For eg,
Farooq Rind, pks was a new genre for Zanjabeel but it's output was his vision, it was him who brought the character's to life and gave yumna and bilal their most critically acclaimed performance. And then who can forgot the blockbuster IM, even with half baked plot and editing, he yet again delivered another good show with bilal.
Siraj bhai is a male biased hence you'd see all his shows being from male pov and being tilted towards the male character's. He makes people sympathise with the male lead and brings out the best performances, and dynamic screenplay.
I might have my issues with badar bhai, but even he has a very good vision. Bala, cheekh, ishqiya were some of his excellent works. And he yet again delivered with kmkt.
Wajahat is also a visionary director. Khaie, kam3, IJ are his best works.
But haseeb has no vision, he just directs what's written in the script infacts pulls it down more with his snail paced direction. If he was a good director, he would have made people sympathise with sadaf with her flaws but he failed at doing so and people hate the fl.
Any director can direct well if the script is written by ace novelist like uhmera and farhat but the director that elevats a bad or mediocre is a visionary director and this is what wahaj believes it.
