Hello all,

This is the first bonus round of our contest. Get ready to involve not just yourselves but also your forum friends who aren’t participating or eliminated in the first round. Let’s spread the cheer and celebrate the diversity of our community in true patriotic style!

Participants are divided into 3 teams :

Your task is to invite non-participants/eliminated participants to perform simple tasks for your team assigned by me!

Each team participant can tag only one non-participant at a time. Once one task is completed, you can tag another non-participant to complete another task. Any team members can do it, but same non-participant who completed a particular task for your team, can't be tagged by them for another task.

Each successful request completed by a non-participant earns your team 5 points. If your team can complete all the 8 tasks, all of you in the team will get 40 points each.

Tasks

1. Share your five favorite patriotic songs in the thread along with the links.

2. Write a one-sentence message about what India means to you.

3. Create a short story about India’s independence using only emojis.

4. Express what patriotism means to you in just 5 words.

5. List five events that happened during India’s freedom struggle.

6. Design a poster in the form of a collage to celebrate India’s Republic Day.

7. Share a personal memory that made you feel proud to be an Indian.

8. Design a banner with the title "Jashn-e-Deshbhakti: Celebrate Unity in Diversity!"

You have to create your own thread with the title of your team name and the contest name in History forum. One of the team members can volunteer for opening the thread.

Once a task is completed for your team, you have to tag me (Quantum-Dot) to inform that it's done.

Don't use PM methods to invite non-participants to respond to your tag, if we find it, you'll be disqualified. Only tagging is allowed.

If one member don't respond to your request in 2 hours, you can tag another person to complete the same task. They can confirm in your thread after taking the task.

You have 24 hours from now to complete these tasks (Deadline : 18.1.2025, 6.30 PM IST).

Any questions related to this round can be asked in this thread and I'll be very happy to answer.

After seeing this tag, i got shocked. I thought deadline of round 2 is over and i haven't sent the answers. And round 3 started.

Yes participants can discuss everything in their team thread, not through PM.

8 tasks are given but not compulsory, the more you finish, the more points you'll get.

Everyone of you, please note that you can't tag multiple persons for different tags at once. You have to do one by one.

Have we done it correctly? I have opened a thread in history forum and tagged all my team members. I already tagged a non participant for a task. At the same time Vera (hope the name is correct) also tagged someone else for a different task. Is that ok?

If that is not ok, how can we avoid that?

The other question is, we need to complete all tasks in the thread we created, right?

I believe we all can talk to each other in that thread. Can we talk about whom to tag for other tasks? or can we do that via PMs?

Please clarify.

You can all discuss among each other in the same thread about whom to tag for the tasks and plan there.

Yes you've to complete as much tasks as you can in your team thread only. If your tagged person doesn't respond in 2 hours, you can proceed to tag other non-participant to perform the same task.
