Yup... waaay late. With the way they got them married should've happened immediately - say by 200th ep if not earlier. All the clues were available to prove her innocent if not Babs guilty. Killed character of V during mela and A after it.

Jahan... was a good character but I didn't like her pushing Ammu towards V and V jaap and being the principal of the ship after the mela. Could've stood by Ammu, help her prove innocent, make V apologise ... rather than going 'oh he is a heera'. But yes... one of the consistent characters nevertheless.

They should have consummated quickly.. instead kept dragging and dragging.. and any 3rd party wasn't required. Just remove Babs from the equation, ex herself (if played by a good actress) would have been enough to push V towards Ammu.. this khichdi (Shubh, Gautam..) is a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.

Too late for Babs to be positive too - as odd as her being so very negative around the pics etc. With her lack of remorse she is the default villain.

They'll come up with someone... ex's sis 'betu' who will want revenge. I'd have preferred graded growth in negativity of Rajeev but even he is redundant after kidnapping track.

Btw who was the one who broke the news of Jahan actor leaving? Thinking they might have meant ex actor. Else couldve expected some post somewhere. (Unless she posted in her ig and I didnt see it.)

Forget consummation and wedding, most are okay with VA only because the characters are played by Sriti and Arjit. If Virat was Shubh / her past, there would've been many, if not all, who would've been glad Ammu left the idiot. (Shubh is bad because he left Ammu... but despite forcefully marrying her Virrawt is a hueeraaw.)

Could've happened anytime after the Alibaug or visarjan eps. But peabrain was busy figuring out all the alphabets b/w i and u.... and Ammu had to take matters on her hands.
