Tiger 3: Very dull for a Spy Universe action movie

It was decent, but I can totally see why it underperformed. The excitement was missing and the action was very average. The bare minimum requirement from the spy universe movies is that atleast the action should be top-notch, but here the action choreography was so lacklustre. I think some of it was because Salman was very stiff in his action scenes. The towel scene action of Kat was also so stupid. The second half picks up when they are trying to save the Pak PM. I dont buy the whole they were trying to save Pak PM, so it under-performed narrative - that subplot was barely there for 15-20 mins in the end. Pathaan's cameo was very cheesy and their chemistry was bland.

This was actually good going into the second half and I liked it for most parts. KA was good (no match to Akshay obviously) in the comedy and emotional sections. Vidya was great. Tripti was good. Madhuri was annoying. The side characters were great. They could have actually trimmed the movie by around 15-20 mins and it would have elevated it to something much better. T
Singham 3: Better Ramayan story than Adipurush

I found this surprisingly fun. I thought it would be cringe AF, and it was for most parts, but it was still fun to watch with the Ramanyan parallel and all the cameos supporting the barebones script. Ranveer Singh stole the show easily - he had the funni, followed by Kareena, the cameos and finally Ajay Devgan. I am surprised that Rohit hardly gave him anything to do - he was arriving late at every action scene and just going for a couple of hits. Arjun Kapoor was bearable - you could see he was trying so hard to be menacing and failing as expected. But he was tolerable.

Best out of the 4. Except for the songs, no dull moment at all. The comedy was actually quite good and Kriti did great in this role. Shahid was also cool in a role which did not require much. And it did not get too preachy, ended it without dragging it along for too long. I think one of the best movies of 2024
