Hello and welcome to the SCG for day 2. We're in for a spicy first hour based of what happened last night. Australia begin 9 for 1 with Sam Konstas not out but India will be gunning for him based of how they went at him last night after Usman Khawaja was dismissed.

The weather is expected to be bright and sunny today. Will that ease the conditions out for the batters? Only time will tell. It was a day for the bowlers at the SCG when India opted to bat under grey skies as Boland accounted for 4 of the top 7 wickets, with Cummins and Starc sharing five between them. There was swing, seam movement and variable bounce on offer which made life difficult for the batters. Right towards the end of day's play, Sam Konstas managed to get under the sklin of some of the Indian players, yet again, with the delaying tactics. He will have to face the Bumrah music early today, and it may not be as straightforward as it sounds. The recent trend at SCG also suggests that there could be something in it for the bowlers all the time. Can India make early inroads, how will Australia approach the opening hour? Nice and bright at the SCG. Bumrah and Kohli can be seen offering the pep talk in the huddle. The crowd seem very boisterous already as Konstas jogs out to the centre. Siraj to kickstart proceedings on day 2

Earlier on this tour, Morne Morkel welcoming all the bowlers onto the park in between innings, tossing them a ball and getting them to warm up. Things were going okay until he tossed one to Jasprit Bumrah because Bumrah, bowling from the spot, made Morne retreat over and over and over again. He just hasn't held back on this tour. In the nets, he has advice for the batters facing him. Rishabh Pant was asked if he had ever wanted to reciprocate and he just smiled. "Sometimes I feel like giving tips but I think it's all fair in place of cricket." Today Bumrah had the fielding coach T Dilip flinching as he tried to catch the first ball Bumrah spot-bowled to him. SCG, you better be ready.
