Rekha - ASR was brutal and ruthless, but IPK is a masterpeice for ITV, because each and every character is done well. Lavanya never became an outright vamp, Shyaam while being a villian still had moments of niceness with Khushi's family in the begining. ASR treatment of Khushi was handled with push and pull. He'll hurt her and then sit and obsess abt it and set things right when he realizes he did wrong. I used to ask myself why I was watching and rewatching a show that shows a ML mistreating a FL but somehow even tho not justifiable the love compensated for the actions. Agree or not some viewers like to see a dominant male on TV, even if not in personal lives. Manorama mami is a classic - never replicated since or even come close.

Anjali, Payal, Akshay everyone - only story I can rewatch time and again.

For him the deep trauma of seeing that image on the terrace when he had started to fall in love with Khushi; his absolute despair to know he had fallen in love with the woman responsible for breaking his didi’s marriage. That image to be erased from his memory through atoot vishwas.. as a concept it played out beautifully where he just started to know her and fall in love with her all over again and the atoot vishwas built in over the time they spent together…Khushi didn’t change from Frame 1 to the end but Arnav did

Leena has achieved her goal of no one giving a damn what she shows anymore. Only people watching now will be those excited for Jhanak and her new pati/baccha….those who enjoyed vilifying Ani for so long will enjoy hopping on board the new JhaVi ship soon enough

No one gives a damn about Arshi regardless so Leena is welcome to watch her Arshi bhakti scenes by herself 😂

Yes Rekha - it took a while for the atoot vishwas but boy did it come and they justified it beautifully, Story progress was good. I used to feel second hand cringe for Kushi. She had to put her self respect aside many times for her family and her silliness was sometimes over the top. Kushi deterioated towards the end. The track where ASr's old gf came back, Khushi was unbearable. But she also had some fantastic FL moments and the story telling was consistent. Dialog writer was fab and the comedy so well done. Maybe I should go and rewatch now to get over J stress.

I seem to be the only one looking forward to achha aadmi in J tho :) Anything that reduces J's suffering and overall show toxicity is good with me.

Watch - Adile is till episode 303, and Arylie starts then. Many youngsters prefer to start at 303 whereas other fans who like unusual organic bonding like the first half better. Aryan in terms of characterization is the closest to Ani in the very small set of shows I've seen via TV and insta clips.

He wanted to help Imlie from day one in everyway possible, was her savior always, but never accepted his attraction for her till much later. His character was very stoic in the beginning. Fahmaan and Sumbul are fantastic in Imlie. They were also entertaining in Sunday with Star Parivar series. But, neither is as appealing in their subsequent shows.

I feel for a couple to have chemistry in a show, story + writing is the most important. Actors matter but not as much as story. Its quite possible Krushi can do another show and not have the same chemistry even with eo.

leena seems to like mixing in bengalis in her casting. The new guy's wife is Bengali right?

Bold: and that's the truth . Acha hua hume pehle se hi sare games pata hai. Koi nahi that eternal AA fd that always proved to be manhoos for every show will help Leena aunty to shut her shop for good. Uss din hum party karengay.....like we did when imlie season 1 ended 🤡🤡

But then the Q is, what replaces it? Mature love stories? On Indian TV? ....yeah that's always going to be a pipe dream.....most producers on ITV are incapable of funding any project with a mature portrayal of relationships.....all they have is push/pull drama at the max and the execution of that is always a hit or miss.

Problem these days is also that no one wants to bother making effort on writing coherent love stories so their lazy excuse is now is that they are writing "flawed" characters and not "perfect" characters.....lol in the guise of this, they are just writing cheap immoral crap and trying to justify that as "layered drama"

So then you have to ask yourself....was entertainment simpler when atleast makers could get the basic brooding ML formula right even in the confines of "men as rehab projects"? lol is the current fake wokeness era better where FLs are applauded simply over the degree to which they can degrade and insult the love of the MLs as "toxic"? ....FLs of today don't solve any problems and just go around giving empty bhaashans but are somehow applauded as "stronger" than the classic Ekta heroines....lol

Heck even Gul's bubbly heroines which I couldn't stand most of the time seem Oscar-worthy now as compared to today's ITV FLs

Why I am still stuck in GHSOP as, Maan was not the case of 'men as rehab project' but he was a man with all solution. A gyani baba in fact .

I am still waiting for the show where the story is based on trust of each other the way I had witnessed there. And hoping for a story where it revolves around leads and where there is no scope of third wheel. In case of Maaneet - there was no scope of a third wheel. Both were busy showing ego to each other and then pamper each other's ego.

Then the way Anirudh took J's stand and the way the Shaadi was highlighted, there was again hope of seeing some next level trust wala relationship. But all my hopes in vain.

Now seeing the way writers have lacked creativity due to TRP hungry pH, I have completely lost hope in ITV. I try only selective shows and all eventually turn out to be disaster and disappointment.

With Imlie, I thought it would go that way even though characters were completely different but interesting.

Imlie is my another favorite till Adilie. But result hurts thus taking away the everlasting impact that Maaneet left.

We thought atleast jhanak will shine in her career...but became nanny to someone else child...
