I did not know that.

But according to valmiki version

Mandvi is older.

Sita and urmila are daughters of Janak

And mandvi and shrutakirti are daughters of kushadwaj

It would be better front of Shri Ram lol so it expedite the story and it would be nicer or Shri Ram to know Luv kush are his flesh. One thing even though they did it wrong way in this show Shri Ram must been impressed with his sons and Gita press version says Shri Ram was really impressed how two young boys were standing up for a women.

And in this show he wants to give sanskar for fighting for women’s right to his children and samaj and I am sure Shri Ram would have wanted too

Yes even in valmiki ramayan version it says Shri Ram would not do anything or sleep without Lakshman since thry were little kids. He even shared same plate with Lakshman.

They were inseparable from birth

That is why if even they said when he banished Lakshman as per Yamdevta deal. He followed immediately left Ayodhya and entered Saryu river immediately without any thought.
