Krushal still managing to salvage some bits despite his character being scapegoated from all sides.

He manages to humanize Ani even when everyone is determined to hail the FL even for her blatant hypocrisies and gaslighting of the ML. Some people will only hear that he agreed to marry Arshi in the end while conveniently ignoring the pain behind his words when he says I’m a liar and a cheat just like you accused me. People deliberately want to ignore the pain he is feeling after trying so hard to fight for his love and to save J’s life….and getting this in return from her 🤷‍♀️

Too good !! Ani is the most fleshed out character written in recent times in itv I assume and I mean thar across genders…( I don’t watch a lot but I do have an ear to the ground) and Leena has done great justice to his arc… And yes Krushal is superb!! Whattay scene.. - Only J can get him in this mood and proved time and again!

In contrast she Leena did so poorly with J’s characterisation… I had such expectations of J’s character traits of duality - the OG do naav main savaar but she loaded it with ITV Female leads ka sub text that it has left a strange taste.. This track had potential but by choosing this expedient “ you should marry Arshi” is killing the essence.. Ani could have been in the same state due to the pressurising from all around and J not trusting would have rendered him helpless in any case

I just happened to read about some memory loss.. the only memory loss that works for me is for Leena

While Dibya and so many others kept saying Leena is up to no good I was in some denial of sorts cos I used to think.. if she has gradually brought about the arc to a good state for Ani - him becoming clearer by the day about his love, I thought maybe she will bring about J’s arc to that state too eventually even with all the constraints she will set up and a wishy washy characterisation of just basically going hammer and tongs without understanding anything!!

But the pregnancy track put paid to it…It was a track to trip up Ani badly - without giving enough time, space for Jhanak to recover…

The pregnancy matter was more serious..it’s not a mere jealousy fight.. to remember it was not only some lover’s tiff that these two just handled well a few days ago..It was more serious than that…so I accept it should have been a bit different… with some steadiness in the narrative

When Runak did well on the Adi proposal I genuinely saw some hope that J’s reaction to the pregnancy news while bad will not harm the track in too much of a bad way despite some hiccups initially

I just thought she will walk out or the illness matter will come up without all that nonsense of getting Ani married etc - totally unnecessary in the scheme of things.. Leena has handled every separation track in this serial in a bizarre fashion but this one sure takes the bakery..This is not separation - this is the END of whatever the story was

I can't get myself to watch this clip and see his raw pain and suffering all alone in this world. Perhaps one day... but not yet.

Goddy 100% - I see it the same way. Both have done wrong, but Ani made his flip flopping bed and will lie in it, while J is paying for prioritizing her unwavering core set of principles over her love.

In my mind its Ani prioritizing zimmedari and J prioritizing her principles is what is coming out & bth getting what they believe in is justice. While I hate Leena's toxic writing, separating Runak now is much better than having J be more servantile and taking care of Ani's baccha. I cannot believe so many viewers want that J should have stayed in BH with Ani, just because he says he loves her, even while his actions have prioritized Arshi every single time. The fact that he agreed to get married to Arshi and not just support the child, makes him a man incapable of making his own choices, based on his conviction. I'm glad J said she does not want to change bachha's diapers. I'm glad the viewers who want her to stay and support Ani in his zimmedhaari and Arshi during her pregnancy as Ani's wife are disappointed. That would have been torture for me. Now Ani made a choice to marry Arshi, again in an instant wo thinking things thro. Ani also kept telling J - marry Adi - when you stay with hi. longer things will get better, J did not immediately react and say - I'm going to marry Adi bcos she was upset with Ani.

This storyline is ok for me to continue watching than J managing Ani Arshi baby period. This is not abt Ani's love or lack thereof or J and her principles over love. Its always been Ani's inability to stand for what he wants and believes in, whereas J has. Tossed by emotions and the wind - going the way the wind blows is Ani - Leena made that clear in the episodes dialog's where he goes to J's room and also when he takes her to the dr for a shot. He asks himself will he indeed get married to Arshi - like its events happening to him that he has no control as opposed to him directing his life. Even marrying J to protect her is Adi's suggestion not his. Is J God for him to do everything she says? Where is his own brain and sense of self protection? A amn of 27 cannot leave his house and be independent?

Ani’s infamous dialogue came today “ he does not underStand what to do” he is calling intimacy with Arshi as a mistake and asking Janak if she will forgive him. After hearing this, I donnno should I laugh or cry at Ani. Certain mistakes cost a lot and it can’t be easily forgiven or forgotten. May be Ani has been manipulated and violated by Arshi which is really sad but Ani has given her the space to do the same. I was super annoyed at Janak at previous times when she rejected Ani. I was not happy that she is not prioritizing him and his love but this time rejecting Ani is the best thing Janak did. In fact she just made his life easy by making the decision for him. Otherwise we know Ani is a bad decision maker and he wants to keep everyone happy which is not practically possible. Both are paying for their mistakes. Ani not setting his priorities right and Ani is a classic example of not taking right decisions at the right time. He needs to face the consequences. In the other hand Janak not prioritizing Ani and their live and running away situations. This time finally she got some hope in life that she could be Ani’s wife unfortunately it has become too late and Ani got entangled more with Arshi giving her no other choice but to step away. But this time for sure my heart is going for Janak even thought how much ever I try to see Ani’s pain.

I am not watching the episodes but I did watch this clip..it’s really good..

Krushal depicts the pain of being not trusted by J or being in a mess in such a measured tone….. There’s a Question being put to him by Arshi about his illness… The way he answers that Q - watch it just for that! That Q is by Arshi but he is answering J who isn’t in the room .. Sorry instead of weaning I am drawing you in…

Look Runak magic is lost due to many small things but principally due to this drastic measure of marriage… Leena forced it else we had been bracing for a track since the violation day… just didn’t think that Leena would deliver it in such a cavalier manner but yeah who are we kidding?

Actually one way to look at it is indeed mistakes cost a lot.. But good faith being rewarded by bad can evoke different reactions in people… You can scold Ani for being stupid or can empathise with him for being good when Arshi hasn’t deserved his kindness..Ani hasn’t been privy to Arshi’s machinations… he only knows that she is angry about his cheating so his behaviour with Arshi has always been in good faith… To recognise that good faith can be met and decimated by bad faith…a lesson can be learnt only when you encounter that knowledge. He still hasn’t grappled with the possibility that Arshi could cheat him… or deceive him He is taking her information at face value..

Jhanak’s pain at what she sees as betrayal by Ani must make for a powerful scene.. I haven’t watched it… I was turned off by those calls for marriage to Arshi and Jhanak donning the officiating priestess role.. the scene called for Thehraav a stillness that will let you assimilate the pain.. but I think the director has gone for the jugular

Rekha ji, can you even recall the last time J had thehraav in ANY reaction of hers? 😂😂. She NEVER reacts calmly to ANYTHING. Ani has also been guilty of over-reaction and talking nonsense many times but other times he has shown calmness or atleast tried to follow up to clarify his stance or MUs. Jhanak NEVER does that. And it’s clear the narrative wants to justify this entitled behavior of hers as “apt reaction” without anyone ever calling out her doglapan. Everyone has jumped to blame Ani as dhokebaaz and she’s been first in line to nod her head along as if she wasn’t pushing him to Arshi all along and he had made some vow of chastity to her🤡.

@underlined: That will never happen on ITV in the case of men being violated. Men will continue to be victim shamed and blamed for not seeing through the vamp’s ploys and “protecting their izzat”. They will never be given human regard on that front. Been like 4 years since Imlie and I’m still seeing literally the same things being justified now also. lol

Funny thing is that the same people who rush to vilify the ML now as they did back then will still keep crying for how they wish the leads had gotten a happy ending. LOL people want someone to blame but a magical solution also. Waah.
