Overly-Colorized movie, looked like a pastry with its garish colors.
Srk looked HIDEOUS in young version with all of the vfx used, his pair with Tapsee looked autracious & forced.
Overly stretched and non engaging film, weakest directorial of Raju Hirani.
overhyped film SRK was an epic miscast
I celebrate by rewatching it...and as I like SRK I don't find him miscast
I actually liked this film..it had that old world charm. But yeah final portions were really dragging especially the feelings you expect in a tragic love story completely missing .I did not feel anything when Taapsee died .

In my feeling, Dunki was more about loss than about love... somehow one anticipates Manu's death, so I didn't find it a "tragic" love story other than - perhaps at the end - for Hardy who nevertheless didn't lose his positive approach to life - even after Manu's death. Manu's decision had been against living with Hardy, but we see that this loss didn't hinder Hardy to strive still be willing for a life with Manu - in India. The contrary happened to Manu.
Dunki is a quite mature movie, more than Sanju or PK or 3 Idiots...but that may be just m y impression
This movie is still hard for me to understand. Why didn't the lead characters go to any big city in India and try their luck there? Why risking one's life and entering another country using illegal means, starting off as beggars on the streets and lying about their own country? No wonder they weren't happy and feeling lonely and depressed because they could never get peace living in another country even after getting everything they wanted from England. Frankly speaking, those 3 characters didn't deserve even coming back to India. They only fulfilled the financial needs of their respective families but even their families weren't happy all these years without their children.
The major drawback of the movie was the story itself.
