For real... It looked too forced.

Honestly, I was hoping to see good actors as junior cops... Because frankly, the entire team is composed of excellent actors. Among them, if you need to make a presence, you need to have good acting skills to hold your ground and not be overshadowed. I'm not an actor so I can't give professional comments but as a viewer I can say that when the entire cast was on the screen, my attention was on the main cast and not on the three new ones because I couldn't feel their screen presence.

Yes it was never OTT.

I think the first time they showed some kind of friendship was during that episode when Daya had brought a jwellery for his friend (later turned traitor).

Daya said that I bought it for a friend and she is just a friend. Then Abhijeet says dost to hum bhi hain tumhaare, humein to tumne kabhi kuchh na diya (they were still in Boss phase then)

Yes their friendship became the so gradual and beautiful, it was like they both with no one in their lives became the ones to complete each other..

It is a major highlight of CID for me and the best male friendship of ITV along with Ram and Vikram in Bade achhe lagte hain
