Yes he had one brother. Even in Daya ki Dulhan episode he had some sister. But suddenly he became an orphan raised in an orphanage.

But maybe his parents had died to all the three siblings were raised in an orphanage. Could only find this justification. But later even his siblings had vanished.

He had adopted Divya in Khoon Bhari Holi,(first episode of Lavanya and your favourite Kaveri) but after that even she was not shown

haan even though it was a loop hole..the way the actress portrayed her execution was pretty chill...its gonna take some time obv to get used to the new female forensic scientist but the way tarika interacted with team was wayy better than this female forensic scientist...maybe i might warm up to her later as episodes pass by but for now kinda felt she was reserved...

The show has just begun ....the character will grow on everyone once we get used to her characters

Also Vraj looks like a senior officer , he looks a bit old to be a trainee officer ( age shaming is not the intent of this post )

I think originally they had planned Daya as a secondary character (like Sudhakar etc.) so was being shown as normal people but later people started liking him more so slowly they made him the central character of the trio, isiliye they weaved a sob story around him... Like Abhijeet and ACP already had

Yeah during Viren and Jayant episodes Daya was mostly in the background and Freddy and Sudhakar had more dialouges , Daya got more footage post Abhi's entry

Then they became known as the duo / AbD
