Yes loved their scenes - though the firepit one was a dream ..I think Shahnawaz doesn't know for sure that he loves Mehru or he can't imagine that he's in love with her. Even before the marriage he was attracted and subconsciously in love and I guess all that monologue was him trying to reason out his attraction/love for Mehru. We still don't know how the conversation between his mom went that led to their marriage but I have a feeling before Shahnawaz brought up Mehru, his mom came up with the idea of him marrying her to get Zain out and as a boost to her political career. She probably convinced him that Mehru is the enemy and the sole reason he is marrying is for their gain - Today's episode seemed to indicate that Shahnawaz is totally controlled by his mother in thoughts and action! So i'm guessing whatever love blossomed in his heart before marriage - he brushed it off and married her per his mother's wish ..tho his subconscious was thrilled with the idea! ..He's also told himself that he can't love the enemy ..but now again he finds himself falling for her ...so i guess in that context today's mohabbat dialog makes sense ..he's now beginning to feel that he's really in love ..It's going to be interesting now to see how he sides her over his mom and brother! But i hope yeah that he does grow a pair soon enough else the sizzling chemistry is going to fizzle out! Would like to see the younger bro irk mehru and tho i want mehru to deal with it herself and in her way it will be good to see Shahnawaz's concern. Rafay could have served some jealousy purpose but looks like he's just ignored by Shah!

Oh well, let's see how it goes. The way the story is set up, I wouldn't mind even if these two don't get together in the end but Shah becomes better and Mehru independent and strong and successful!

No there is a legit scene where Shah is thinking about Mehru and agrees with his mom that he is actually in love with her. And in this thoughts, he keeps calling her his mohabbat

And even Ali says that he loves her that's why he trapped his mother into marrying them

yeah i guess they went a bit overboard in showing us what he feels for Mehru prior to proposing to her - but perhaps after his conversation with his mother, he kind of squashed that feeling and told himself there is no way he can love the lady who put his brother behind bars (albeit it was much deserved) - and today he said something that translates to "how can I love her or fall in love" or something to that effect? ..I think he's totally confused and doesn't know what he wants and just responds to his mommy's reins.

I'm just trying to make sense of whats going on ..cos it is bizarre what they showed us of him before and after the wedding so trying to pin all the inconsistencies on the conversation between shah and mom that we were not shown~~ :)

Wow. We got many beautifull and romantic scenes in this ep. Nothing much happened. But it was dedicated to Mmehshah's fans. I loved it that when she stood on a billow to fix his shirt button. Shah's monologues are always so good, although he is trying to stop himself from falling in love with Mehru.. but it happened. I wish we have some Mehru's monologues.

I think mehru is not trapping him she is adjusting & trying to go with flow accepting the marriage as her fate. But guess, soon her dialogue to shah on their wedding night will come to play, "mein eent se eent bajake niklungi, iss ghar se".

Soon saman will ask shah to separate from her or she will plot to make mehru fall in public's eye so she can arrange shah amal wedding without spoiling their image.

Is it confirmed the show will have 36-38 episodes?? Now the story will have to increase its pace, if that's the case

In their iv Anmol said that Mehru changed after marriage and became bichaari. Anmol asked for changes in the script. I believe she did, coz from Hina Hum Nafees previous shows, specially Munafiq. FLs always become obidant after marriage.

I don't like Hina Huma as a writer but I'm glad that they made mehrunisa a strong character

But the writers need to decide whether Shahnawaz was already in love with mehru before the wedding(as per his internal monologue) or is he falling in love with her now (as per post fantasy thought)? Is this their way of explaining Shanno's involvement with Amal, hence paving the way for future conflict?

Instead of saying that he is falling in love with her, he could have said something like he can't keep away from her or something along those lines...

We have been critical of Mehru not doing anything post-wedding...but even Shanno was quite vela...whatever happened to his business? What if Fahad took all his money and ran away to the Cayman Islands? Bro hasn't thought about business since the day he heard that Mehru's engagement broke...

Now that Sadia has served her purpose and Zain is out...can the old Mehrunissa and Shahnawaz please stand up? The ones who actually used to do something? I was waiting for Mehru's monologue on her plan of action but after Anmol's interview about Mehru wanting to save her marriage while fighting for her brother...I have understood that Mehru had no plan of action as such and the only weapon in her armour was the media expose just like the only excuse shanno had given his mother to marry mehru was to win ticket and get zain out. In both their cases, their respective threats/excuses have reached their expiry date. In Shanno's case, he will have to come clean with his feelings(which means no more dilly-dallying with Amal). But in Mehru's case things are more complicated, because her mother has signed the mafinama and I'm sure Saman Shah will make it look like to the media that Sadia had no pressure. So what option does Mehru have? If she leaves Shanno now, her mother's useless sacrifice will prove to be futile and the lady will probably die of shock(at least the story will move forward). So what other option does she have? Will Saman Shah keep her now that her purpose is served and her brother has given her an ultimatum? Will Shanno finally grow a pair and tell his mother point-blank that he loves Zain and her but he will not leave Mehrunissa because he loves her? If he doesn't do it now and continues this 'main majbur hu' game and mehru continues playing biwi no 1 with amal then the story and leads' chemistry will soon go downhill.

Btw is it just me or was Rafay low-key lusting after Mehru today?

How do you tell what that chipkali is thinking or wants from his expression? He just stares at anyone and everyone the same way. It can either be lust or regret or lost love or wanting her earring. Who knows?

I hope her civil disobedience starts now...full zoro-shoro se...I know we'll have to see today's episode to come to any conclusion

But I've a feeling Saman Shah will not let go of Mehru so easily. She'll face public backlash for getting Zain out(even in last week's episode a journalist said her opponents think she's using Mehru to get Zain out). So she'll show Zain to be repentant in public, maybe show him visiting Mehru's family to apologise etc. that's how Zain will get the idea of entrapping Muskan to get back at Mehru...

But yeah, I'm done with Shanno's majburi alaap, his marriage now needs to be seriously threatened to take him out of his shell. I'm glad Mehru said in yesterday's episode about having to spend the rest of the life with a person she hates...can she say that to his face maybe a 100 times a day so that he can wake the hell up?!

I've a feeling Rafay will reach out to Mehru post maafinama
