Rudr is abhirs rock star name it won't change. So they should change kid name as Ruhaan for getting peace of families and stop the fights. This might happen in small leap. That changed name will get everyone closer including abhimaan union. This gap is needed for abhimaan orelse rista is taken for granted by poddars. They are not touching rohit now it's for some other purpose only.

Yashoda used to call him kanha but real name is krishna. Let's see if Abheera ka daksh is continued as ruhi ka bacha. Or ruhaan is name in certificate at home it's daksh Or they close daksh keep ruhaan

Abhir and Ruhi are children of Half-sisters.

Abhir and Abhira are half-siblings.

Abhir and Ruhi are double half-cousins, which considered very close in both genetic and family charts. Abhira and Ruhi are half-cousins, again close bonds in genetic and family charts.

Distant cousins are the ones like 3rd or 4th cousins. Abhir, Ruhi and Abhira are 1st cousins, thus still close. While not exactly necessary, given they are part of plot, it's not far fetched.

Ruhbir talk is needed to show how they think of each other. It is also good that they showed why abhir ended up as a singer instead of a doctor he dreamt to be. Being alone without any guidance and struggling with his own past demons it would be a miracle if he became a doctor.

Simply akshara's running away messed up Abhir's life completely
