Me too. But I just use the movies to help me imagine the HP universe. The books are what I go back to and are my favourite, except the cursed child. I've not read that. Hopefully, the HBO series will be better in explaining all plot points that got lost due to the limited timing of the movies.

Yes.. the movies skipped so many great characters aswell. I just wish the HBO series would do justice to all those characters.

I didn't like the cursed child aswell
